Ugh I’m rambling but it just makes me so mad. Tumblr has this huge problem with people saying “straight people..” “white people..” “men..” and thinking they can make any accusation or say whatever they want because the group isn’t a minority so making stereotypes and creating tension between us isn’t going to hurt them in any way. If you want everyone to be equals making petty comments about dumb things that aren’t actual issues is just going to make the group we are trying to be equal to like us less and create tension (for example, so many people hate feminists now because a bunch of them made generalizations and uncalled for jokes about men and now people think feminism is just bashing men at every opportunity. I’ve seen so many black people on tumblr who make bad memes and spread hate about white people because they want to laugh at white people and justify it by saying you’re too sensitive or that you’re racist if you don’t find it funny. If you’re angry at white people, there’s a problem. Being angry at a system that puts white people first? I understand and agree and want to help as much as I can. Being mad that someone is white or saying their opinion doesn’t count/can’t matter because they’re white, that’s another story. Just teach people instead of spreading this kind of ignorance) ugh I’m rambling again this shit is just so depressing to watch.
