Operator of the Day: Flamebringer!

(aka me self projecting for like 15 mins like the FB kin that I am kasddkdkd) - His favourite places on the Landship is his garden, the bar and the training rooms.

- I like to think FB and Thorns are buddies because he asks for tea-making advice from him AND they get each other as sparring partners.

- *taps mic* CEYLON AND FLAMEBRINGER TEA MAKING FRIENDS WHEN

- Speaking of gardening, he always goes to the garden when he needed a break from everything. As much as he loved the adrenaline of the battle, winding down at night while sipping his tea was always an amazing thing to him.

- He used to had long hair back in the day because he was too lazy to cut it. But after transfering to Rhodes, it was interferring in battle too much so he just ask someone to help him cut it.

- Growing up, I imagine him having to fight for what he wanted. Like almost a bandit almost. Stealing for survial and fighting those who wanted to take things away from him. It’s also how he sharpened his skills.

- Probably a sword nerd?? Like he knows swordsmanship and the culture behind like his hand. Ranging from what type of metal is best to make for a sword or how to handle each type of sword, he knows it all. (another reason why I also think he’s besties with Thorns too) - Gets super. fucking. flirty. whenever he’s drunk. It’s fucking impossible sometimes to believe that this is the same person that would literally snap your neck and bust your kneecaps on the battlefield.

- touch starved! flamebringer is so canon in my book IN THIS ESSAY I WILL *gets tackled* - One of Hoshiguma’s drinking buddies. He likes to talk to her because she’s like the chilliest girl on the Landship and she can handle him when he’s drunk. - I also imagine him doing like cigarette kisses with other Operators. Like with Lappland or W (?)

- FLAMEBRINGER IN ROY MUSTANG COSPLAY W H E N - On extra days, he wears fingerless gloves and there’s belt straps on his pants. (idk i just think it would fit him 😭)

- His favourite food is probably spicy things. He can handle spice like a champ because he likes to fuck with his palette in like the best ways possible.

- Probably pulls a Childe move every single time he enters the training room and ask random operators to fight him to help him improve his skills. - Out of everyone in Rhodes, he’s the one that probably takes up the most injuries imo. He probably walked around looking like Dazai Osamu with all of the bandages for his wounds at one point.

- Silverash definitely owns a wine cellar somewhere in Rhodes. Everyone at one point got curious and will hunt down said wine cellar.

- Hoshiguma suprisingly has the most blackmail outta everyone. She has seen a lot of shit when someone gets drunk and dirty. Her favourite blackmail material is a video of Flamebringer dancing in heels because of a dare Lappland made.

- Phantom is the biggest fan of SIX the Musical. His favourite queen is Jane Seymour.

- He fangirls with FEater sometimes I like to think. They geek over musicals together and it’s cute.

- Thorns, Warfarin and Aak known each other as the Science Trio of Rhodes. At one point the Doctor have their names on their phone as Chemistry (Thorns), Biology (Warfarin) and Physics (Aak)

- Those three share a gc together too and it’s either science shit or crack content; pick your choice.

- The F in Franka stands for Flirty but it can also stand for Final Breath if you steal her clothes. She will hunt you down with a pair of heels to stab your eyes out.

- At least one time per day on the Landship, Croissant turns into the next Hu Tao. She shoves buisness deals down everyone’s neck wherever’s possible anf Yith sheds a tear thinking about it.

- Hellagur adopts the Ursus girls. He’s like one of the best grandpas on the ship imo and I also like to think he also helps with calming down the younger Operators when they’re having a bad day.

- Also this man is armed not only with a sword but BOMB ASS BAKING SKILLS I TAKE NO CRITICISM.

- I like the idea of Istina and Rosa reading together. Like them chilling in the library, fine blend of tea (courtesy of Ceylon of course) and them discussing over the books that they’ve read to each other. It’s their own little book club.

Hypmic ship kids extra information

Hi there, I know many people don't know or care about my ship kids but I don't care so here we go

Order will be from oldest to youngest

🍭Ame Jinguji💉

Ame is the daughter of Ramuda and Jakurai, she is the oldest of the ship kids.

She's most similar to Jakurai personality wise, very sweet and soft spoken, she's always willing to help no matter what and is going to be a doctor when she grows up.

With the other kids she's closest with Ishi and Sora as they are like her cousins, with all the others, she's kind and helpful, she's like a big sister to all of them.

🌺Nozomi Nurude🎋

Nozomi is the twin daughter of Rosho and Sasara, second oldest of the ship kids.

She is like Sasara and is always telling jokes (and often performs on stage with him), she's always smiling and has her eyes like Sasara's (but if opened they are red), she is also going to become a comedian when she grows up.

Of course with the other kids she's closest with her brother and with the others always does her best to make them laugh and have fun.

🌺Naozumi Nurude🎋

Naozumi is the twin son of Rosho and Sasara and is the twin brother of Nozomi, he is the second oldest of the ship kids but the younger of the twins.

He is like Rosho, serious and not one to mess around but is anxious sometimes, Nozomi often reassures him that he's doing good. He will become a comedy duo with Nozomi as an adult

With the other kids he prefers to be by himself but will talk with them if approached

🥂Ishi Kannonzaka👔

Ishi is the son of Hifumi and Doppo, he is the third oldest of the ship kids.

He is often nervous like Doppo but he has Hifumi's incurable fear of women (but he's fine with Sora and Ame as he grew up around them) he's a bit of a crybaby and clings to his parents and friends a lot, he's going to be a teacher as an adult.

With the other kids he clings to those he knows best when scared or upset, mostly Ame

🎲Sora Yumeno📚

Sora is the daughter of Gentaro and Dice and is the fourth oldest of the ship kids.

She's quite energetic like Dice and sometimes talks too loud, she has Gentaro's habit of telling lies but is caught more easily than her dad, she is going to be a guitarist when she grows up.

With the other kids she's closest with Ame and Ishi but always plays with the others.

📿Tatsuo Yamada1️⃣

Tatsuo is the son of Ichiro and Kuko, he is the youngest of the ship kids.

Like both his dads Tatsuo is fun loving and rowdy, he's always happy to meet new people and talk to them about his favorite things. He's going to be a Buddhist priest as an adult.

He's more than happy to hang out with all the other kids and teach them everything he's learned about Buddha and anything else he can think of

He’s as close to death as can be without literally taking his final breath, but he’s about to realize who will quell his boiling blood–the very person that caused the reaction in the first place without anyone realizing it.

Everything is on fire . From the air that he breathes to the very skin on his body, Jae-Ha feels as if he’s submerged into a pool of lava. It comes on too quickly to be a fever and it’s not nearly as debilitating–there’s no other symptoms that would lead him to thinking that he’s sick–but he would be an utter fool to consider himself entirely healthy.

Even Yoon can’t seem to find an answer, only offering the dragon a cursory look-over and a constant pinch of his brows tight over his eyes. It’s not a look that the green dragon trusted. If the young genius of a boy couldn’t gather the faintest idea of what ailed him, then did he truly have any chance to figure it out on his own?

Suffice to say, there was little else that Jae-Ha had than simply treating the symptoms that he could and ignoring the rest–and that alone was hell.

Though he could treat the tension, the body aches and even the uncomfortable churning of his stomach, there was absolutely nothing to ease the heat burning him to the core. It clung to him like a heatwave–it felt worse than even the days he had spent out at sea with Gi-Gan and her crew, when the days were smoldering and sweat dripped down his skin. Even then he could seek comfort in the shade of the mast or even slip below deck if there was little to do.

But now?

Taken from Wikipedia, the Bodh Gaya is ‘a religious site and place of pilgrimage associated with the Mahabodhi Temple Complex in Gaya district in the Indian state of Bihar’.

An ‘agoashi fee’ is actually a shortened version of a longer concept - ago-ashi-makura, which is terminology used in the Japanese entertainment industry to refer to the costs of meals, transportation and accomodation respectively. “Ago = chin/jaw = food”, “ashi = reeds = travel”, “makura = pillow = place to rest”. Essentially, Kuuko is saying you’ll be charged for meals and transportation.

Not gonna lie this confused me a lot, but “throwing aside” seems to refer to not finishing something you’ve started.

Kuuko uses the term ‘risemara’ here, which is gaming slang for repeatedly restarting the beginning of a video game in order to get a specific character or item.

He also uses the word ‘upaya’ here, a term used in Buddhism to describe potentially unorthodox methods of teaching that can still bring one closer to Enlightenment.

Nagoya is the capital of Aichi prefecture. In general, Kuuko’s verse seems to be a criticism of “commercialised” Buddhism, but it could be that I’ve translated it wrong hrjghjr

So this is pretty funny; instead of his usual ‘arehen’ Sasara actually uses the Kanto dialect form of “isn’t it?” in order to mock people who speak like that.

“Position talk”, or an opinion. Hitoya’s basically claiming laws are bendable depending on how you see them.
