New York, huh? Etsuko was only in here to get an early start to a busy day. He was scheduled to appear on a panel at a nearby con, a very popular and posh con, for a matter of fact. So he had to be awake enough to apply layers and layers of make-up, along with putting on a very complicated and intricate cosplay he slaved over to make.
The line was long, but he was luckily enough to arrive when it wasn’t too long of a wait. He got in line, ordered his overly caffeinated drink and then swiped the drink away from the employee, who very obviously didn’t want to be here.
Taking a sip of the coffee, Etsuko closed his eyes to cherish the flavor, only to bump into something while his eyes are closed. His eyes shoot open, astonished, as he sees a very agrivated woman, along with a light brown liquid all over the ground before him.
When this female speaks so rudely, his expression turns angry and grouchy, as if he didn’t deserve what she was saying. He grips his styrofoam cup with rising anger and glares at her whilst she speaks.
“Uh, no, fuck you, first of all, and second of all, you should’ve been watching where you were going. It’s not my fault you bumped into ME. You could’ve spilled my coffee.” He retorts, taking a pretentious, longed sip of coffee to spite her. “Why don’t you fuck off and wait back in that line, Barbie? Maybe you can convince the employees you’re a hooker, and that you’ll do the dirty work so you won’t have to wait in line again!~”
Was this second grader for real? This chick had to be joking. What a fucking brat! Sure, New York wasn’t known for its citizens’ manners but this kid was really pushing it. A lot. A whole fucking lot.
Adopting a scowl, she took her coffee covered hand and wiped it against the others shirt to get the amber liquid off of her. She hoped that was a designer shirt or something. She really, really, hoped that it was really expensive or a gift from a loved one or something equally as valuable. It would then match the value of the time she would have to waste in the line again.
Smiling sweetly, she spoke with fake apology.
“Oh, gosh, did I do that? Oh, sweetie, I’m so sorry. I hope you didn’t want that shirt to be stain free...”
When he brought in her appearance, she felt her temper rise and her fists clenched. Deep breaths, Ai. You can’t punch a twelve year old. That is frowned upon in this society. She had never wished more that it wasn’t.
“Oh, okay, Pinkie Pie. Sure. It was all my fault that you’re too fucking short to see. I suppose I should get angry that the universe that it never let you grow taller than a second grader. Forgive me, please, girlie. And I am not a Barbie, I am much more attractive than a piece of plastic, bitch. I am not some girl who sells themself for things! Besides, if that was meant to be an insult, at least I’m beautiful enough they would want that.”
