AoW: One of my friends likes pokemon a lot, so she told me three she thought were cute and I put them as fairy tale characters.  Pikachu as red riding hood, Oshawott as Prince Charming/Philip/Eric/etc. (idk), and Solosis as Snow White (my apple addict friend screams appluhs all the time).

AoW: All of these people are friends I don’t really see anymore…  But we had some awesome adventures together.  Hope they all are doing well! On another note, sorry about the third pic, I forgot to put my napkin in/ use the freezing thing so it smudged a lot. 

PoS: seriously though like I actually recognized these people on sight there faces are so detailed. Your tags are so cute. That is all

Art blog for my frand hooray check it out

hey guys~

SO- over the weekend I put together an art blog for my lovely artsy friend (abyssofwords) and I was hoping y’all could check it out and give her some love.

She does some pretty cool things such as landscapes and fanart (anime and sherlock, so far) with various mediums that you and I don’t risk dabbling in such as acrylic paint and watercolor pencils as well as tamer things like pencil and ink.

More importantly though, I made the art blog because she’s one of those types- they make amazing things and proceed to frown upon it, blatantly ignore their skill, and promptly shred/burn it (often whole sketchbooks at once).

Personally, I’m not a huge fan of these destructive habits, so I’m immortalizing all her pretty things. She can burn that paper all she wants, but her work will still be here for her to appreciate sometime down the road when she comes to her senses.

AoW: Another birthday present.  For those of you wondering--he's dressed up as a kite dancer.  Not what a certain person described it as... 

PoS: oKaY it was an honest mistake. In the preliminary stages, it looked like a person being molested by large fish seriously don't be offended some people just lack artistic eye. 

AoW: and that water bottle full of paint water... nearly drank it thinking it was orange juice OTL anyone else ever done that?

Introduction

PoS (paradeofshadows)put me up to this, so here it goes. 

I respect all of you, no matter who you are, whether it’s to flame or praise (thank you very much if it’s the latter) or just for the simple interest in looking at our blog and viewing my artwork.

There’s always the fear of getting something wrong, but as many people have told me (and as I have hypocritically told others) just get it out there, whether they love it or hate it it’s still yours.

And all of the artwork posted (unless it’s a reblog, obviously) is mine, and in some form an extension of myself that I wish to leave for all to view.

Because at the end of the day, for me, my artwork is the true one thing I have left for myself.  

Art is rarely as much for the audience as much as it is for the artist.

I hope you enjoy your stay. Note that if you decide to flame it will be dealt with accordingly. My lovely friend who made this (and introduced me to tumblr) does not need a single person causing the shutdown of this absolutely beautiful blog she so patiently designed for me out of the kindness if her heart (yes please go praise her she's wonderful).
