Getting ready to release an UTAU "voice"bank - Pianoloid v2! This is a quick cover using a MIDI of the Verdanturf Town theme from Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire.

Pianoloid (v1) was released back in 2010 as a monopitch voicebank. v2 is an 8-pitch multipitch bank for your using-UTAU-as-a-DAW-for-some-reason needs. It will be available on soaringutau.wordpress.com in the coming days.

Other ratatta gijinka concepts I considered for pokejinka dex! I wound up going with the Youngster class design, but I imagine the other two here are two of his older siblings.

#sod's doodles #pokemon #ratatta #gijinka #number one is also just a kid who wound up accidentally joining team rocket #she's not sure what they do exactly but she got a cool jacket out of it #number 3 was the furthest stretch but essentially she's a broke college kid who goes to parties to steal free food for her siblings #i liked the idea of using a bow for ears and the ponytail for the tail but i couldn't quite make that work with the Youngster aesthetic lol #one of the dex entries for ratatta mentions that it breeds a lot so....big family #ratatta isn't my favorite but i'm really happy with the concept i came up with it was really fun to work with

#sod's art #oc #original #please excuse me i'm going to ramble about my ocs here in the tags #they all needed a refresh they felt so dated lol #especially kotori and kururi they had all my horrid 2010 design sensibilities #i wound up making both of them more understated because i imagine they'd actually want to blend in #also kotori continues to be a semi-persona so i made her wear stuff I'd actually wear lol #...though i guess if i actually wanted to use her as a persona these days I should make her wear glasses lol #elle has always been a kind of throw away character unfortunately but at least i can draw her proportions properly for once #at the same time ??? is meant to be very small as well despite her general proportions because she's a large doll #kayo is really just a slight refresh though i tried to add a very slight pirate aesthetic to her #with kururi's hair i kept thinking it looked like gumi so i shortened it and then I tried filling the back part with orange and....solaria #anyway these will serve me well until i decide to redesign them again in another 5-10 years
