When Aradia peaked in, Sollux was sitting on the edge of his bed with his arms crossed and pouting. He immediately looked over at her but didn’t really want to say anything else because hearing her voice is when a feeling of guilt came across him. He puffed, “I’ve decided to forgive you, AA, because I haven’t actually been taking my medication and you can see right through me.”

"That's all I wanted to know." She murmured from her spot in the doorway, sighing softly, "I didn't ask so I could nag at you or anything." Aradia explained and tilted her head to the side before stepping into Sollux's room. She didn't speak any further, shuffling over and plopping herself down on the bed right next to him. It was true, she wasn't about to lecture him, especially seeing how he'd reacted, she was just worried.

"You ask me all the time! Everyone does and I don’t want to hear it any more. I take my meds!" He exclaimed, flailing his arms because that really made him look like someone who took their medication. Sollux swung into his room and slammed the door behind him, shoving himself against it. It was only a moment before he let it open again and headed over to flop on his bed instead.

The slamming of the door only earned a flinch from Aradia as she stopped just before it. She sighed and kicked a little at the ground. Of course that was a bad idea, it always was. And she knew Sollux was sick of it, why she had asked was seriously a mystery. It took a solid three minute silence before she walked forward and opened the door just to stick her head in.

"... I'm sorry."

The hacker had been prepared to make more comments about how stupid the children she took care of were but when she got quiet, he kept himself quiet as well. He puffed his cheeks when they were squeezed, raising an eyebrow. It wasn’t until she spoke again that he reached up to grab both of her hands and push them away from his face. 

Sollux moved himself away from her while keeping a grip on her wrists, “Really, AA? You ask me every time you come over and every time we’re talking on the phone. It’s getting old,” He shook, letting go of her hands so he could stand up, “I’m doing fine with my medication, just so you know, and I’d appreciate not being reminded 24/7 about my illness. Are you going to point out my lips every day next?”

With a huff, he began to retreat to his bedroom.

There was a soft startled noise from Aradia when he moved away, which forced her to sit up right or to fall onto the couch. She frowned at him, setting her hands on either side of her when she was let go, "I do not ask you that much. I ask you once a week, at most, because we don't even talk on the phone daily." She blinked and watched him start to walk off before standing herself and following Sollux immediately.

"Do you really blame me for worrying? Because that's the only reason I ever ask."
