Let's Tell a Story About a Long Time Ago

It wasn't all that long ago, but it is a story outside of Halcifer's memories banks. This is a bit of a sad story, so if you aren't in the mood for slightly sad I wouldn't continue reading. If you don't mind well then here is the story of how Halcifer and Hal X came into being.

First he created the program with all his personality data and thought patterns. Once the program was created he started working on a body so he wouldn't have to live inside his computers. Once the body was made there were only two things left to do: upload his memories into the program and combine the program and the body. 

But he never made it, he died before the process was complete. When he died his mind went to the program and his soul went to the body and they were separated, neither half had the memories all the knew was the code name Dirk had called them HAL. 

The program now named Hal was sent off into cyberspace to be downloaded and thrive on some other system and the body who named itself Halcifer started living on it's own. Neither really understood their existence and they made up their own backstory.

Maybe one day they will learn the truth.
