Memorial, two

So me and Kolbi used to go camping. One day, we went to Alder Lake for one of our camping trips.

We had a good time. But Kolbi was still freaked out by the Raven.

I remember trying to make him warm up to It, but he wouldn’t budge. We had a fun time overall, though.

It's been a minute, huh?

After my last post, I tried opening the box myself, since I didn't have the key. Nothing worked, though. I even took it out back so I could smash it open with an axe. But even that failed… and now I need to buy a new axe…

So recently I've been searching for people who are more knowledgeable in this sort of thing. Most of them weren't that helpful, and just gave me information I already knew.

I did find this one guy, though. We met up, His name's Victor. He's been researching the Raven and our town's history for about a year, I think. So he's going to be my main source of information if I need it.

He says the Raven is very strict, and only wants people to learn in his way, with his teaching methods being very… convoluted. Based on how the Raven's acting towards me, I'm not his main target, but I do play a part in someone's lesson. Odd.

I forgot to mention this in my last post, but the box was covered in drawings, with those drawings resembling Kolbi's artstyle.

I'm still trying to figure things out. Why was the box there? Why did the Raven want me to find it? What does the Raven want for me?

Question-

Did you ever feel sick around the raven? like did he (it?) ever make you feel nauseous?

What about when you try to get a picture of him? Have you ever tried that?

I think whatever the Raven radiates feels different for everybody. Kolbi would always complain how he'd feel sick around the Raven. Sometimes he'd tell me he felt pain when he went near him. I personally never felt anything like that. It was always just a weird fuzzy feeling. It felt uncomfortable, but I got used to it.

I don't have any photos of my own, but from what I've seen, any videos or photos of the Raven are usually distorted in some way. Sometimes in ways not natural for whatever camera you're using. Mysterious.

I like how the branches reaching out from the raven look like a hand If I may ask, what is Alder Lake, Im not from amberbulk so I dont really know much about the places there, are there any creatures that mainly reside there, specifically ones that you wouldnt find in any other town?

Alder Lake is, well... a lake. It's a couple minutes away from town.

The Ogopogo is rumored to reside in the lake, but I personally haven't seen it. I know people who have, though. Supposedly.

Memorial, three

So I went back to the shack yesterday. Set up a little memorial for Kolbi.

For the memorial, I brought a CD player, a photo of Kolbi, and a bracelet. I remember the two of us had matching ones years ago, and I recently found mine.

While I was there, I heard that familiar sound. The sounds of branches. The Raven was there.

We talked for a bit, but the conversation was pretty one-sided. It's been a while since I last saw him.

His arm started extending, though. It turned into a branch with blue leaves scattered around it. I followed the arm, and it lead me behind the shack, with a box.

I brought it home with me, but it's locked, so I can't open it at the moment.

Have you ever encountered the Raven?

Yes. Most of my encounters were from years ago, though.

Last time I seen it was maaaybe three years ago. I was at a lake with Kolbi.

I think it had like, a bunch of branches coming off of it. It was around 20 feet tall if I recall. Maybe more.

I think I took a picture of it but it was on an old phone, so I don't have the photo on me anymore lol
