Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Until Dawn 2 or Control: Resonant ended up delaying. I don't know how the sales compared, but Remedy has shot themselves in the foot before when another game released on the same day. That's why a lot of people (myself included) called Silksong's sudden release announcement with no warning a little shitty. It puts AA and indie devs, especially, in a bind.

Alan presented himself as Jesse's brother in North Star. He even greeted her with the exact line that Dylan greets her with. Obviously he's doing this to escape, but, it's strange that he inserted himself firmly in Dylan's position. Dylan was more of a plot device than anything, and we know that his words throughout the game were influenced by the Hiss—an entity that we also know Alan influenced, giving it words that it didn't have before. We know that Alan can't create things that don't already exist, but (this is a far-off theory that a lot of people will hate) I wonder if it's possible that Alan may have moved events around so that Dylan was created, making him 'fictional' in the same sense Alex Casey is. I don't want to call Dylan a meat-puppet, but the implications of a self-aware self-insert...
