Lessons
You learn each lesson in life TWICE:
First when you someone tells you the conclusion.
The second is when YOU get to that conclusion.
That’s the difference between knowing something and truly understanding it.
Everything has a price
Whatever you choose, you always pay. If you pay more you get to enjoy it, pay less and you get something dysfunctional. This goes for every choice in life. We pay with our time, our energy, our attention. That’s why the right choice is always the hard one, because it requires more payment, more sacrifice. The less you give the less you get in return from life. Simple as that.
Victory
If you are doing something and NOT complain about doing it, you have already WON.
It’s not easy finding out who you are. In the desperate search for the answer to ”Who am I?” people often mistakenly identify themselves with their opinions and beliefs. That’s why they are stubbornly defending it even if it has been proven wrong. The key is to grow and learn, and yes it takes courage and strength to recover from having a lifelong belief shattered but you know what hurts more? Never changing and living in a delusional world.

Note to self
Stop thinking: “I’m not talented enough to execute this concept.” Start thinking: “I’m going to be a stronger artist when I’ve finished this piece.”
This is a fixed mindset vs. a growth mindset.
Your abilities are not static, and any challenges you have, anything that turns out different from how you imagined, is not evidence of failure, just a struggle towards improvement.
Had a rough time? Tough childhood? Difficult adulthood?
Use it as a stepping board to success! Pain is the best motivator for change.
If you are going through it now I know you will not think there’s anything good about going through hell, but believe me, once you pass it you are gonna be 100 times stronger than ever before!
By the time it’s over you will have learned incredibly important and useful lessons. More than anything you will realize that you are strong enough to survive that!
Nothing in the world can stop you if you have already been through the worst.
Habits
Have you noticed that you are often feeling down? Miserable? Anxious? That’s because your mind has chosen fear way too many times, it got used to it, set it as a default way of handling situations.
So if you are trying to stay positive but it just doesn’t seem to happen, don’t give up! It doesn’t mean that “Being positive is just lying to yourself” or “being stupid”. It just means that your brain is just not used to it yet. They key is in repetitions. Remember : the brain is like any other muscle - it requires training to keep it in shape. Give yourself a pat on the back and remember this next time you are doubting the value of trying.
