At long last, here is Rusty in my Little Friend Style!

Made almost entirely of custom dyed minky, minus the caramel brown and the red (and the chocolate brown for the hat). All markings are color blocked or manually appliqued. Felt eye. Color matching in the eye was difficult, the color balancing is not helping at all either. 🥲 Removeable hat.

Made with minky. Underside of cloak is linked with a cotton blend fabric. Stuffed with polyfil and has wire armature to make them poseable. Their scissors are made with layers of stiff felt and outer layer of upholstery suede.

Very first OC prototype in my Little Friend pattern!

I requested only canine and feline shaped characters-- but this little slipped through the cracks-- shhhhh! This sweetheart seemed easy enough to do some minor testing on more unique eye size and slightly different head shape (as far as the brow extensions). Unique eyeshapes are something that I DO NOT plan on having available for more standard characters, as I want them to stay fairly uniform to each other, but there will be some very special exceptions-- like Wani! Who looked a little odd with the smaller standard eyes I'm using! ^^;

Edits from original pattern: Base pattern stayed the same. Muzzle is nonstandardized here and handsewn. Head is attached with handsewing as placement was still up in the air! Machine zigzag stitch used to applique details. This filpflops with future plush... ^^; Eyelid placement changes in future plush. :)

Flamedramon!

Here is another Flamedramon! I already have plans to update this pattern one more time, but I'm proud I got the helmet down to 2 face pieces instead of the one with the gusset!

This plush is made with minky and small bits of mochi minky. They lay at about 30 inches from front claw tips to back. Details are machine embroidered and appliqued. They're weighted with glass pellets! They are HEAVY.

Here is Zinthos!

Completed a month or two ago, and already at their forever home. :)

Little Zinthos is made using THREE different brand of black minky. Unbranded minky black (as the darkest shade), Shannon Cuddle 3 minky as the 2nd darkest, and (discontinued) Shannon Double sided minky as the base. Unfortunately an issue that many plushie makers have, including myself, is finding a solid colorfast dark grey. :( The darkest grey before black is the grey used for the belly. I do love that I didn't give up on this little fella, because I think they came out awesome!

Style is in my Teddy style. Minky, machine embroidered details and appliqued. Some heat and bonded spot details. Stuffed with polyfil, a pillow of minky scraps and glass pellets in the rump for weight.

Here is Qylbi the Sergal!

Completed a month ago, but have been fighting my perfectionism . Decided today is officially the day I show them off and get them ready to head to their forever home! ( I lied, I ended up making 2 more edits since posting his reel on instagram and reinforcing a few seams-- worth it.)

Qylbi is approximately 54 inches tall. I took final measurements and this is completely wrong, or I typo'd it...? Qylbi's final measurements are 67 inches in his laying position, from the tip of the nose to the tips of the toes, 62 inches standing completely STRAIGHT up without the legs bending or the torso scrunching. They were patterned to be laying with armature, and their "resting" position is supposed to be a T-pose with their nose pointed up. :)

Entirely made of minky fabric. Details are machine embroidered and appliqued ( face, hands and feet) the rest is colorblocked. They have copper wire armature, and some foam supports in the torso, forearms, thighs, base of the tail and calves to keep them from being too floppy. They cannot stand upright by themselves without support. Their hair accessories are removable via hook and loop strips.

The amount of times I started to literally sweat when manuvering this big plush to sew something on! Even adding the armature was a workout. 🤣 This was my first plush that I worked from pieces-- sewing and stuffing limbs, testing the fit and either attaching or adjusting til it was right,-- at least at this scale. Oddly, the head is what took the longest!

Very interesting project to work on, and I'd love to make another large lizard sized plush like this again in the future. 😊

On a side note, This gorgeous fella helped me navigate some grief and loss, and I'm grateful they came along at the time that they did. <3

Here is Kitsu!

An actual break in between work on Qylbi! 😅 this little one was completed within two days after I had embroidery files all sorted out; unfortunately they did take longer than expected on my machine ONLY because the auto jump cutter takes an absurdly long time... But that's a story for another day.

ALL pieces of these plush have machine embroidery to emulate all the little star details on Kitsu's coat. :)

I'm slowly starting to love the size of these little beans because it's a perfect size to carry around as a little companion! 😭🩷🩷🩷

Anyways! Minky, machine embroidered details. About 6 inches long from the top of the nose to the back tips of the legs. Pouch of glass pellets to give them their iconic Beanie weight! :)

This little one was supposed to be a palette cleanser between breaks in Qylbi, but holy cow, poor planning on my end made this one of the most intense "simple" projects. 😱

There were quite a few oddball embroidery errors, and even a weird misaligning that I still can't figure out. Smooth sailing after the embroidery and assembly was done-- 55 spines were hand sewn into this little one, but it at least was therapeutic 😅

Glad to have this sweetheart done as theyve been in a queue for longer than I feel comfortable with!

Made with minky, machine embroidered and appliqued details. Glass pellet pouch for added weight! 16.5 inches with tail, 10 inches from top of nose to back tips of the legs.
