This was the most epic day I’ve ever had on a bike! - The trails in Iceland are remote and rocky. In my 17 mile, 4.5 hour ride, I had to hike-a-bike for over an hour through a creek’s rocky ravine, straight up the mountain, and use chains to not slide off the side of the mountainside. - While slow going, Iceland’s rugged landscape had me in constant awe. Geysers, boiling hot creeks, and rocky moss laden trails like nowhere else. - The right bike was extremely helpful and the fr-213 got me in to and out off many beautiful and difficult conditions! - #fatbike #adventurebike #iceland #fr213 (at Hveragerdi)

Reykjavik had a beautiful trail network! - 2/3’s of Iceland’s population lives in the city. - Everywhere you look there is rock.
