Bolaire has had some interesting developments and I'm looking forward to him getting out of the city and maybe finding more siblings. I do have to wonder if he will end up being an anchor for the halfling afterlife since he would probably qualify as an artifact
Mara was worth the wait and I'm excited for more of her in the next table split
"I'd spit on you, but I know you're probably down there raising hell with your brother."
Poor Kattigan
I love that Misha just goes with whatever, even getting Bolaire accidentally on him. "Oh! I knew paradise would be a theater!"
Einfassin for the surprise glasses representation. Looking forward to meeting more Einfassins
Ahhh Wick noo. This is stressing me out. So well meaning but noo
Hal's the next one to die after that. He put a massive target on his back after that speech. Unless Wick performs a miracle of damage control, Hal is going to have to run or become a martyr. Definitely a strong moment, but future defining for him
I love Hero. These npcs are so good. It's going to be so rough if Brennan starts killing them off
"I think I need to go this way and die"
"Can I have your finger then?"
"It's a deal"
"No I think she just likes death"
"...too much"
"Where I come from, there aren't a lot of things to do...I want an adventure!"
"You can't have an adventure if you die"
"Well I don't intend to die, do I?"
This Witchspire one shot is so fun
"You need to turn someone to stone? I can figure it out"
Oh Hero is so fun
The lines Thaisha says in talking to the druid (I forgot their name, bear druid) struck me hard.
"We seek to heal a broken world, and we're ignoring that all of the people that are here are a part of it and whatever they're doing right now is as important as a Barrowdell..."
It's not the same context, per say, but it relates to my feelings on church and part of the pain there.
The church I grew up in had a major emphasis on the afterlife, what comes next, work for the dead. What you do in life isn't as important as long as you check their boxes and follow rolls they tell you to follow. The church could do way more good if they actually wanted to with all the money that they hoard. People (including me) could've followed their dreams more or even had dreams.
And their next exchange where the druid encourages her is so important too. The offering of help even though some of what Thaisha has done hasn't followed her druidic order.
Just babbling, but I enjoy seeing how things are playing out
"I wield the might of giants, I can fix him!"
Such a funny line but also famous last words worthy
About an hour into the latest critical role episode and while I really loved the Schemers, I did miss the others too
Yanessa Halovar creeps me out more than the Tachonis because she reminds me of people I actually know. Example: staging an incident and turning it into a religious thing is totally something my sister has done
