"I think I need to go this way and die"
"Can I have your finger then?"
"It's a deal"
"No I think she just likes death"
"...too much"
"Where I come from, there aren't a lot of things to do...I want an adventure!"
"You can't have an adventure if you die"
"Well I don't intend to die, do I?"
This Witchspire one shot is so fun
"You need to turn someone to stone? I can figure it out"
Oh Hero is so fun
The lines Thaisha says in talking to the druid (I forgot their name, bear druid) struck me hard.
"We seek to heal a broken world, and we're ignoring that all of the people that are here are a part of it and whatever they're doing right now is as important as a Barrowdell..."
It's not the same context, per say, but it relates to my feelings on church and part of the pain there.
The church I grew up in had a major emphasis on the afterlife, what comes next, work for the dead. What you do in life isn't as important as long as you check their boxes and follow rolls they tell you to follow. The church could do way more good if they actually wanted to with all the money that they hoard. People (including me) could've followed their dreams more or even had dreams.
And their next exchange where the druid encourages her is so important too. The offering of help even though some of what Thaisha has done hasn't followed her druidic order.
Just babbling, but I enjoy seeing how things are playing out
"I wield the might of giants, I can fix him!"
Such a funny line but also famous last words worthy
About an hour into the latest critical role episode and while I really loved the Schemers, I did miss the others too
Yanessa Halovar creeps me out more than the Tachonis because she reminds me of people I actually know. Example: staging an incident and turning it into a religious thing is totally something my sister has done
I don't think King Gus is going to die. I think it's a staged murder attempt of Yanessa to double down to their followers in Timony that Gus is really a bad guy.
Or she is planning on getting killed and coming back with filament stuff to prove they are as powerful as they say
Unfounded theory: Armas (or whatever Wick's love interest's name) is paint lady and she wants to see him so he knows whatever happened to her
1h and 42 minutes into the episode so I may revise my theory
I think Thjazi was working with the Sundered Houses to an extent on the master bad guy plan, in order to set it up to fail. He was killed because he got in deep enough they didn't need him anymore or because they found out something he was doing was working against them, just not necessarily everything
I am only on episode 2 and am too attached to Peppermint Preston. I fear for the little piglet
Decided to start Crown of Candy and I am excited about the start and that there is a gummy bear knight
The two cakes (multiple cakes) thing is great and all, but it is so hard to decide sometimes
Finished Starstruck Odyssey and now I can't decide what next
Got through Battle of the Brands, which was awesome. I am absolutely not thrilled to find out why the episode is called The House Always wins. I want Gunnie's debt gone so much
Working through Starstruck Odyssey and they're just meeting a character called The Junk Mother. I am very concerned for this npc
