"You can run but you can't hide, little songbird."
Marvin chuckled as he walked down the long winded hallways of his palace, hands clasped behind his back. His green-blue eyes were darkened with sinful desires, swirling with madness as he grinned maliciously, wiping off the blood from his mouth with the back of his hand.
"Come out, come out, little songbird. Oh, how I've missed your singing," he shivered, the smile widening into impossible proportions, pupils dilated into mere prinpicks to further cement his disturbing image, "come now, my little songbird, my patience is quickly running out, and you wouldn't like me when I'm impatient, sweetheart."
His breaths began to quicken as he snarled at the image of his songbird being taken away from him, eyes glowing impossibly bright. He lashed out furiously, destroying a stray table and vase, as he tightened his fists, long black nails piercing his palms and drawing blood.
His eyes scanned his surroundings frantically as he began to run, a small chuckle escaping him as he imagined his little songbird, shivering from fright and their bright innocent eyes staring back at his fearfully. Oh, how he loved his songbird so much that he feared his heart was going to burst, beating so loud and fast he feared that the other may have heard it. No matter, it would all be another testament of his love to his songbird.
He laughed as he entered a room, kicking the door off its hinges and rushing towards his most prized possession, his love, his obsession.
His songbird screamed and he smiled.
