*He had no idea what brought him to this timeline, but something compelled him to investigate. Sans had seen the video message, and he couldn’t resist giving the timeline a look. Who knows–maybe he could somehow help.
*The idea gave him a soft snort. An error, helping a timeline. Now that was something he’d like to gloat about.
*Though soon he found himself staring at the Sans of this timeline, and the sudden jolt of panic and fear caused him to take a step back and drawing out his shield, hiding himself behind it.
*Though the other quickly apologized, admitting to just being startled, and he sighed in return. He let his arm fall to his side and let his shield despawn, though he frowned when his alternate appeared disturbed by his appearance.
*Cautiously, he took a step forward. Something about this alternate in particular was… off. He couldn’t quite place it immediately, but…
“Ah, it’s all ri-ight. You, uh, kind of sca-ared me too.”
*Try as he might, he just couldn’t place what was so off about the other, so he shrugged it off.
“He-eh, don’t worry about me-e. This is norma-al for my, um. Spe-ecies. I’m fine though, re-eally.”
*He took another step forward.
“I, um. Saw your messa-age. I wanted to see if I cou-uld help, maybe?”
“Dunno wha-at I can do, but I figu-ured I would try, yakno-ow?”
Though he’d only caught a glimpse of it before it had vanished, his curiosity piqued at the sight of the other’s shield. Such an object was rather strange, something he’d never seen in his life. The urge to study it and perhaps determine how to replicate it rumbled lazily through his bones -- an attempt to spur him into action that he blatantly ignores in favor of analyzing this alternate through vision alone.
A more detailed ᴄʜᴇᴄᴋ would have to be through fighting, and he’s tempted to try it. For now, he pulls himself from his contemplating to observe firsthand, feet planted on the ground despite his desire to step back at the glitch’s approach.
Any situation where instability and glitching was normal did not seem the most trustworthy.
* “So there’s more than one of your kind, eh? And they all tend to do that?” Weird. Disconcerting. It makes him think of some of the things that the ᴘʟᴀʏᴇʀ has done to the monsters around here. Normally, however, if the altered form wasn’t stable enough to act on it’s own or with the environment, it would be fixed.
Somewhat.
* “Anyway, ya came to help?” Sigma doesn’t sound as relieved as he should, and he catches that in his tone a little too late. If anything, his timeline needed repairs, or a way to block the being responsible for it’s changes out.
He debates, fighting with himself for a moment before he shrugs. His head turns to the path somewhat behind them, gesturing to it.
* “I’m sure you know the basic layout of the land, considering you’re a version of us. Lab’s that way. I’ll follow, and I’ll fill ya in on the way.” And keep an eye on ya, he adds silently.
