no, not everything i write will have a poem blockquoted at the beginning- the poems are apart of whatever it is I posted, usually something Kira is thinking, more on her love of poetry later, but occasionally they will be something she says out loud- i will make it clear if that happens.
it looks pretty with my theme so i have small text with little capitalization. strikethroughs are a way to get across that “little voice inside your head making comments on what is happening around you” or just quippy little things that break up the flow of the writing but I want in there anyways because it shows the type of character my muse is.
sure, i could write ‘Kira stared blankly at the peeling wallpaper waiting for M/C to speak.’ or i could do what feels right for this character and my ever evolving writing style and write ‘staring blankly. waiting. the wallpaper fading- dead skin. the other has yet to speak.” or “she stares at the fading wallpaper- peeling like dead skin. -waiting to flake and fall. quiet. waiting for the other’s words.”
you can think i’m pretentious all you want but you couldn’t be farther from the truth. i will never bash on how another person chooses to write. and someone’s writing style will never be the deciding factor on if i interact with them or not.
if something i write is unclear i highly encourage my rp partner to ask for clarification- i’m not going to get mad or think any less of them because hey, guess what, some times things just aren’t as clear for one person as they are for another- i will gladly explain anything
i like what i’m doing on this blog- it fits my character and it’s fun. which is all i’m here for. if you don’t like it that doesn’t mean no one else does and if you don’t want to follow me because of it- no hard feelings, everyone is entitled to their opinions. i personally envied the blogs that i used to see that could write like i’m attempting to do and i just wanted to try my hand at it. and this might not be the only blog i do in this style. i have a canon-ish dc character that i’ve been meaning to revamp and she would do very well in this style.
