I think the shortest answer to that question is "Yes". But probably in the past tense. I truly believe that Larry has been real at some point. From all the evidence gathered around the web, it is impossible to deny the clear indication that Louis and Harry at some point had a relationship that was somewhat romantic. I don't believe that they necessarily have been banging each other every second off camera or some other dumb theories, but they have obviously been more than just friends. I think their relationship could be placed somewhere in between a bromance and a traditional relationship. Especially when they lived together I think it’s realistic to presume the two of them have been fond of snuggling with each other or similar. I think they both found some safety and comfort in each other when basically becoming one of the most popular boy bands ever. At a young age, they toured the world several times and worked really hard with their music. They spent a lot of time away from their family and friends. It is evident and natural, that when they realised they had some sort of bond they quickly formed a friendship and later a bit more than that. Especially Harry who was so young at the time seemed to genuinely love Louis. Harry has always been much more obvious and open about it. Always described his dream partner with neutral pronouns, even when the interviewer asked him to describe his dream girl. He also dead serious said in an interview that his first crush was Louis Tomlinson. I could go on for ages with examples. I do not say that Louis only loves Harry half-hearted because there are also a lot of signs of his love but because he was a bit older, he was more obedient to the management. To me, it is clear how they craved each other and enjoyed building up tension between them, knowing they couldn't really act it out in front of the cameras. I don't really want to try to define their sexuality, but they have obviously been curious about each other. It is possible that Louis was only curious whereas Harry was more settled. When they didn’t get the chance to be together the passion eventually faded for Louis whilst Harry seemed to hold on to it for longer. Because of the nature of love, relationships have the sad history of not lasting. Still, to this day, Harry seems to repress his innermost feelings for Louis, whilst to me, Louis seems like he has moved on a bit but still has some pent-up feelings and loves Harry. I don’t know whether if it’s as a friend or more. An indication of this is that Harry has never denied their relationship, it has always been Louis trying to “deny” it. To be fair I’m not sure they currently have a relationship, but we do not know what happens in private. But one thing is sure and that is what happened in the past.
My eyes water when I think about them. I feel so devastated and broken, that they never had the opportunity to be together for real. To me, it is so obvious that they love each other, and because of the circumstances at the time, they could not be together. If things just had been different we might have had the honour of seeing them together as a couple. It tears my heart out, how their relationship was gradually toned down to the point, where they couldn't interact with each other, even though they wanted too. One of my biggest wishes is that they some day can be together, even if it's just for one week or even one day. They truly deserve each other, and the world needs to see them together. To me Larry was real, there is too much evidence and I reckon it still is real. I hope that some day their love wins and that they achieve eternal happiness.
