Happy Holidays! 2022 coming in and of course I needed to start the new year right.

Today we have Steak Fajitas 😋, Chicken Empanadas, Fish Tacos ( I have no idea what's in the tortilla but man it hit). Strawberry Mimosa and a Mexican Sunset to wash it all down. Had me like 🥴.

-Take Out Chronicles-

Now I know I usually go out to brunch, but decided it's time I try something different and look for the best takeout breakfast.

Today's take out comes to us from The Hangry Cook in Brooklyn, NY.

We have the Hangry Platter served with 3 eggs cooked to your preferences (they actually got the over-medium right), crispy cubed potatoes (they aren't kidding with the name, these aren't home fries they are really just cubed potatoes that cry for seasoning), crispy bacon (with substitutions), and lastly two slices of toasted sourdough bread. Taste overall was solid and it was a decently portioned meal.

Next we have my personal brunch fave that somehow just missed the mark, the Eggs Benedict. Served with bacon on a dry English muffin topped with non-existent hollandaise sauce and a side of cubed potatoes that just want love.

The saving grace were the drinks in which I had the Blackberry Mint Mockjito. Man these were soooo delicious I instantly had to Google a recipe to make my own. Add a shot of your favorite spirit and be ready to send your tastebuds into enlightenment 😊

Unfortunately overall despite the delicious Mockstails (later turned cocktails 🥴), food felt lacking in flavor and perhaps while better in person, I feel I had better from my local bodega.

Brunch with me is always a vibe. Today we have Crab Cake Benedict, Buttermilk Waffles, Fried Catfish, and Grilled Salmon with Sunnyside up eggs. Brooklyn Beso has phenomenal cocktails with a great Playlist of reggae and soca from classics to current. On the left you have their signature Rum Punch and the right you have 2MothaFuckas (Frose and margharita). Delicious 😋
