towntrey hug at the national press club is really undefeated not only does pete have to stand there with his arms akimbo as he tries to get roger's attention not only does he mutter something for roger's ears alone not only does he cling to him like the last life preserver without a single manly pat on the back not only is he visibly fighting tears up to the end of the extremely lengthy hug NOT ONLY does he possibly get a little chub from it

but as he's doing the trouser adjustment he's saying "i'm very proud of my small part..." truly the golden goose that keeps on laying.
