I’m extending hiatus status a little while longer, probably till late August. I hope. As much as I’d like to go back to writing and drawing the mermaid queen I have way too much going on right now to think about it. I do miss all you guys fer reel though!

By her side, Note noticed the Vaporeon near the other with his trainer not being too far behind.

“Ecruteak? I know that place!” The familiar ring put a smile on the trainer’s face. It had been a long time since anyone talked about Johto. “I know exactly how you feel. I lived most of my life in Johto but I haven’t been there in a while. This is the first place I’ve ever been to that really reminds me of my childhood.”

“Sun, sand, waves! What could be better than this?” Whitney questioned as she stood along the shore, enjoying the feel of the waves as the pushed up on shore. Whitney was enjoying the sea breeze as well, that was until it picked up and snatched the hat off her head and sending it down the shore. “Oh no!” Whitney cried as she took of down the beach after her hat. 

Melusine stood facing the horizon as her feet began to sink into the wet sand. She had all but lost herself in the tranquility of the beach until a sudden movement caught her attention and snapped her out of the reverie. A hat zoomed past her, carried by the wind and instinctively, the swimmer dashed toward it and snatched the hat out of the air right before it was about to land in the water. 

“Is this yours?” She asked the girl who happened to be running in the same direction.
