Soooo we made a thing!
Hey all, I know I never post anymore but I hope youāre all doing well. And your pets are all ok too. I have a little update. This year I moved 3 hours away to be with my partner.
Roma really likes him and has settled in beautifully to her new life. Sheās 10 years old now. But still happy and full of life. Sheās going a little grey and one of her ears often sticks up but she still acts like a crazy 3 year old!
Sadly we lost Jak last year on 1st May 2025. His back end started to fail and he was in pain, so we let him go. He had a peaceful passing at home. He was 14 years old.
Recently, exactly a year to the day we lost Jak, on 1st May 2026. Tilly unexpectedly left. I was at work but I made it home to say goodbye. He passed on my chest. I miss that little man so incredibly much. Tilly was 14 years old too. He took a turn incredibly quickly. I wasnāt ready to say goodbye but I am so thankful he held on so I could get home to be with him. He too, came with Roma and I to start our new life together and he LOVED it. He had his own room where my partner and I would sit and game with him.
I hope youāre all good. Give your pets a hug from me x

I drew Roma, of course. this picture gave me a good laugh when Maggie posted it so I thought I'd do my rendition of it! love you and Roma!!
Idk when you did this but thank you š„ŗ I love. So sorry Iām not super active here anymore ā¤ļø
Fun mantrailing session with my mum!
Follow up vet visit! Roma has improved (mainly). With fur growing back already and energy increased. Downside since yesterday sheās now peeing for England and drinking way too much. Bloods retook and will find out results Monday. Her heart rate was also a little high too and sheās lost more weight (now 23.4kg).
She did however hear a box full of 4 week old puppies and was so desperate to get to them she started crying to them (and they cried back š). She was very good and didnāt react once in the busy practice!
So glad I trusted my gut and chose to get bloods done!

šāļøMERRY CHRISTMAS āļøš
~~~B O R Z O I~~~
So Romaās been diagnosed with potential hypothyroidism last Wednesday 8th December and is on a trail medication for 30 days.
Her front right wrist has flared up again and does not want to back down. Even with meds and rest and really short walks.
And I donāt know where this is going tbh. Her medical problems are mounting up with:
- hypothyroidism
- hip dysplasia
- arthritis in front wrist due to old injury
- Environmental allergies
- food allergies
- her left wrist has too much movement making it turn out more than it should
Itās just like, what else can she get? Sheās always lethargic and I donāt know if itās from the pain or the hypothyroidism. Sheās started grumbling at me when sheās sleeping which she never did before (obviously I leave her alone).
Iām scared that Iām loosing her. And I donāt know what to do.
We got SNOW!
No photos but today Roma saw guinea fowl up close for the first time at physio! She was super curious, then when they moved away switched to murder mode š. Was also her third physio session too.
