       daniel takes the comments and commits them to mind almost like he would his spellbooks, even though his spells still mess up. he really doesn’t think he’d take the younger up on his sentiments however, he’s always thought that emotions were a weakness and if daniel happened to show emotions then he believed he’d be a fool to trust someone with them. it was so easy to twist them around and in the end only daniel would be hurt more. daniel knows daseung wouldn’t, even with this odd friendship they have, but it’s been so many years of putting his wants and his emotions on hold for the sake of not being hurt. dropping his sleeve to the table, picking up a pen and twirling it around his fingers with a smile of amusement,  ❝ have you always been this wise, but i just haven’t noticed it because of the gushers in my pencil case? ❞

         “ i don’t really think i’m wise, just honest. ”    ever modest, the boy giggled at daniel. after basically confessing something like that to daseung, he seemed awfully collected. that was just daniel though wasn’t it ?? that’s how he was. it was different to his other friends who so readily shared things, daseung still needed to get used to it.      “ hey wait, are you insulting the gushers of friendship ?? don’t diss, they’re a symbol of acceptance and love. because i looove you hyung !! ”      sure enough, there were even more candies stashed in his own pencil case, one of which he popped into his own mouth in a flash.

“Well I wish you wouldn’t have,” Zhen grumbled since because they didn’t like all the waiting around. Though the moment that they felt Ben’s fangs sink into their neck, they groaned out of discomfort and a little bit out of pain, but it didn’t take long for it to turn into a soft moan. The sensation of having a vampire feed off of them was one that gave Zhen mixed emotions. It was as weird feeling as it was good feeling, and they weren’t quite sure how to feel about it just yet. Their hands slid up to grip onto Ben’s thighs, the first part of the vampire that they came in contact with. And Zhen’s grip only tightened with the hand in their hair, glad that the other was so close right now.

           if one were to pinpoint the moment when ben started to lose his self control it might be when the hand tangled in zhen’s hair tightened.     this was getting dangerous. the vampire’s breathing became laboured, pressing as close as possible to the fae’s body. a disgruntled sound left him, his willpower battling against urges so fiercely. finally, he seemed to win over his inner animal, pushing off of zhen and shuffling back on the floor. there truly was fear in his eyes as he licked his blood-stained lips.                                 “ d-don’t let me do that again ... ”

so naive

When Kali said ‘fine’, Taeseob perked up significantly even though he was vaguely waiting for her to change her mind the next second. Though the matter of where he wanted to go… Taeseob paused. He hadn’t expected to get this far so soon, so he wasn’t really sure where he wanted to go. Outside of the perimeters was enough in his opinion. “Um. Just out somewhere, really. I didn’t have anywhere in mind quite yet,” he admit even though that probably wasn’t what Kali was looking for. “And I know! But I think most people would leave us alone anyways, right?” Taeseob reasoned despite his past experience proving that others liked picking on lone wolves. The few weeks he had spent after losing everything he called home and meeting Kali hadn’t exactly been the most pleasant.

          of course, he didn’t even know.    “ you can think on it tonight. we’ll leave when the sun rises, daylight is safer. and taeseob ?? ”      she raised her eyebrows at him, almost as if warning him against complaining.     “ we’ll be walking. ”      his innocence continued and never failed to make the woman’s heart drop. vaguely she could recall those years when she’d held the same outlook ... she also remembered the years it had been ripped from her. if there was anything she wanted, above all else, she wanted to make sure he could keep that innocence for as long as possible.      “ you can hope that, darling. just make sure you’re still ready for the worst, no matter how much faith you have in optimism. ”

         the blonde lets out a bitter laugh fingers reaching up to tousle his own hair,  ❝ i could ask her, but once you piss her children off by replacing their shampoo with hair dye… well apparently you are on all their shit list. it’s almost a feat, though i guess you wouldn’t know about goddesses and their shitty children, considering.. well you. ❞ daniel finishes the sentence with an angry flip of another page in the spell book, an angry sigh leaving his lips. 

       groan leaving his lips as he just can’t find the right spell, though he knows it’s somewhere,  ❝ it’s such a shitty place anymore that it’s almost laughable to care about anything, i hardly even have demigod friends. the friends i have? mostly monsters, that try to kill me on a daily basis. probably sure you’ve tried to kill me at some point, it wouldn’t be that far-fetched. ❞ daniel shrugs, he’s not really a person on everyone’s good list, hell even his half-siblings are probably plotting his murder,  ❝ now, while i wallow in self-pity, tell me something interesting, you’ve gotta have done something from the last time i saw you. ❞

it almost offended jaemin that the younger basically called him a monster.    then again, how many times a day did he think that of himself ?? letting it slide with barely a huff, the ghoul continued to just listen with a furrowed brow. " okay, you're probably right. i didn't realise hecate bore pranksters though ... if i've tried to kill you before i wouldn't have noticed. you're too important for me to risk taking a contract on you. " an incredulous kind of expression passed over his face. that wasn't to say anyone even had offered such a thing. even if someone did, jaemin wasn't stupid enough to try and take on a demigod.

" what makes you think i've done anything even remotely interesting. " smirking, he leaned his chin on his fist. there was a specific kind of joy jaemin got out of teasing people; such interactions like this made him feel just a little normal for once. " or maybe i have but i just won't tell you. "

   “both is good.” lane laughs again and kisses austin again, more playful this time. he doesn’t do love, doesn’t do romance, but from what he’s seen austin doesn’t have a much better track record. they’re both players, lane’s a literal fuckboy. but he’s afraid to push the line. is it fair for austin to have all of his gay firsts with a porn star?

" fucking hell... "      austin laughed into the kiss, feeling his face (and body) heat up at lane's words.      " ok wait... i know that you know i've never done this before. i ... i'm gonna be terrible. are you really sure you want it ?? ”      absent-mindedly, austin’s fingers played with the fabric of lane’s shirt. it was almost nervous fidgeting, his lower lip worried between his teeth and gaze cast downwards.

     “but you’re my baby sebbie,” kyler let a cute whine fall from his tinted petals before a gasp escaped from the back of his throat, peering towards the male now on the ground. “you are so extra, i hope you know that,” his bottom petal tugging in his teeth, he let out a small giggle, filled with hesitantation, “you know, it’s only a first date if we both drink a milkshake out of one cup.” he chuckled while shaking his head. “just being with me is a date to you, isn’t it?” he teased while crouching down to sebastian’s level.

" stooop !! " with an arm draped over his face, sebastian really hoped kyler couldn't see the blush spreading across his cheeks to his ears. " hey, that just makes me sound desperate. but also you're right ... no homo ?? " honestly, the rapper sounded unsure of himself at this point. but what did it matter, kyler wasn't one of those friends. still, out of habit he seemed to feel the need to constantly reiterate that his blatant flirting wasn't 'serious'.

    ‘   there are many interesting things about your ass and i’m sure the demons will agree with me when they get right up there.  ’ colton rolled his eyes at his statement. ‘  right, well next time remind me to throw you in a group of demons and we’ll see how well you can hold your own.  ’ the male shadowhunter looked down at the item in his hand and he listened to what nathan was saying about it. ‘   hmmm, this could come in handy when i want to attack my cousin’s husband, he better not piss me off.  ’ this thing, whatever it was called, sounded good and he felt like it could be helpful should he ever run into any vampires. ‘  do you have anything else you’re working on?   ’

         “ okay let’s quit talking about my ass already, fucking hell. ”    squinting at colton, nathan made a mocking face. he wasn’t in that much of a mood to keep throwing quips back and forth with the younger. well, maybe just one more.      “ i get it, big competition, you want me out of the way but let’s keep it civil, punk. ”      back to his same old casual smile, the trapper raised his eyebrows. a curious thing to come to mind but he wouldn’t comment. those kinds of quarrels really weren’t any of his business.     “ yeah, i’m not completely useless, huh ?? but i’ve actually been trying to think of something that could work against warlocks. werewolves are about the least of my concerns, though, bear traps work just fine. i’d ask kyun to let me test on him but he’s too much of a baby about pain and stuff. ”

he’s handsome ??

For the time being, Jasper was fairly content to be looking around at what was available, already eyes a few of his favorite stones ( even though he already had enough of most of them at home as it was. As his mother always said though, one’s collection could never be too big ). When he was spoken to though, Jasper looked up and glanced around for a second just to make sure that the other was actually talking to him. The moment that he actually focused his attention on the other male though, he could already feel his heartbeat picking up pace the slightest bit but this…. this was in a good way. It wasn’t in an alarming way for once ( well, it very much was actually. Jasper never had been good at dealing with finding someone cute ). 

“Um,” was his eloquent start to their conversation, pausing for a moment before he nodded slightly. “There’s not uh, anything in particular that I’m looking for… just something new for the collection,” he explained. “I’d be cool to see the other pieces though, if it’s not too much trouble for you.”

            the soft smile playing on kai’s lips only spread at the other’s words.    “ that’s alright !! i understand. i’ll bring out a few for you, i’ve actually got a whole shelf of geodes and stuff, i’m still not sure whether i want to put them on display properly. ”      and he was rambling. before getting up to retrieve the gems in question, he quickly snuck an apple slice into his mouth from below the counter. it only took a few seconds for him to come back out of the room behind him. a soft white glow danced around his hands, about ten different geodes carried through the air with ease.      “ my favourite is the rose quartz that has a patch of amethyst around the edge, is has a lovely energy ~ ”

Despite Niall’s pleas for her not to come into the bathroom, Maeve also knew that she damn well wouldn’t be able to just sit out here until he decided to come out. Not with how she could hear him crying and not after what she had seen a few moments ago. She was too worried about him right now to properly listen to him. “Niall, I’m- I’m going to come in,” she finally warned, trying to door knob and feeling relieved when it opened up. She stepped inside slowly and closed the door behind herself, frowning a little when she saw him curled up in the tub. While she wouldn’t invade his space that much, she still did come over to sit on the closed toilet lid. “Niall…. hey. Talk to me.”

         there really wasn’t much he could do to stop her.    sitting still with himself hidden inside his shirt, he only let his head peek back out when he heard her sit down. even then, niall had his face turned away slightly; he just knew his face would already be puffy and red.      “ i- ”      it was just so damn hard to talk past the tightness in his throat, somehow though, he pushed through it.      “ w-what is there to talk about ?? everyone saw it. people are g-gonna be bugging me about it for ages now. ”      he sniffed, rubbing his eyes with his sleeves while hiccups jolted through him every now and then. it truly took all of niall’s will power not to keep sobbing despite the tears that still blurred his vision.
