full name is zara harper drew. born as araneae-5. she was a collaboration project between weapon x and hydra--- created as a clone of jessica drew with a few alterations to her dna. a continuation of jonathan drew’s personal project. unfortunately the alterations they made to zara’s dna left her an “incomplete” clone. a failure. 

she grew up desperate for approve from the higher ups of hydra and weapon x. no matter how much she was abused by them--- she always longed to make them proud of her. to make her creation “worth” it. it never came.

her genetic mother abandoned hydra when shield fell in 2014. zara wasn’t discovered. instead she was taken by her handler--- and officially given the name zara then. she was taken deeper into europe--- into russia--- where she was continued to be raised by hydra.

she was only discovered after the snap. eighteen. snarling and furious--- trying to find information on why her handlers had suddenly vanished. the avengers took her in. her “mother” adopted her--- raised her to the best she could.

but. there’s only so much you can do for a girl who doesn’t want to change. 

she ran away when she was twenty two--- tired of the control and restrictions placed on her. tired of the lack of trust. she’s been making her own life since then. she wants to be stronger than everyone who tried to ‘raise’ her before. who tried to control her.

her powers are electricity manipulation, spider physiology, and poison generation. basically her blood is toxic to others lmao. and she shocks people when she touches them.

i’m down for any plots with her but!!! i do have a connection idea: another kid raised in hydra/weapon x who got away before her. they were best friends and then they left!!! so zara is. Angry. think adora and catra.
