so since that one umarezi post got a lot of attention i wanna share some writing i did on terezis racing strategy ^^

umarezi is a pace chaser/late surger

she's still blind

meaning she can't see the track

but that's not stopping her from racing

Terezi knows her surroundings by sensing the movement from the other umas around her to know her position (mind powers)

while also using other outside information like the announcers commentary through the speakers

so

for about 90% of the race she focuses on the other racers and paces her stamina

then near the last 200m (since its literally just a straight sprint to the finish from there with no turns)

she breaks out of the pack
