her arms loosely remained around the other’s broad shoulders. there is a soft hum in her voice as she wore the brightest victorious smile she’s ever donned in the last two weeks. resting her chin on his shoulder. “ you can keep wishing for that day , but at the end of it all , i always have the winning deck. “ she said with that playful air of confidence. “ you can ask peter and he will back me up on it.  he’s tried many times , but i always like a good competition , you make a worthy adversary mr . stark. “

Being webbed wasn’t the worst thing in the world. When Peter was trying to perfect the formula, he’d had to test it on himself a couple times, and man, while that had sucked, this was at least a little funny. Besides, he could think of way worse company than Cindy. “You want to leave me hanging?” He teased, smiling. As Cindy paced around, Peter watched her, waiting for the news. “That’s great! You want to be a SHIELD agent? You’re sure about it?” Peter preferred to answer only to himself and help out where it was needed, but he could understand why Cindy would ally herself with an organization. He just wanted to make sure it was her choice. “What would you be doing with them?”

“ mmmm. “ she hummed with a tilt of her head , dark threads of hair falling against her shoulders. “ very much. “ cindy’s voice radiated a teasing tone as her eyes were trained on him. it felt .  . . almost frustrating that averting her gaze could sometimes be such a chore. when he was . . . very nice to look at. averting her thoughts , with one feeble attempt -- using that question as a crutch “ the real question is what would they be doing for me. “ correcting him , she pointed out with very little hesitation behind it. cindy worked her own agenda -- being apart of an initial organizations has always been a bit -- complicated for the arachnid. “ you never fail to impress me , you pay more attention than i gave you credit for. “ of course that was a joke in itself , she knew how conscience Spidey was of the people surrounding him , didn’t mean she couldn’t jest -- but between the two she was truly a wild card.

someone that a harder time belonging or lumping herself with a group itself - but a change

Something was always going wrong, Peter was used to that. What he wasn’t used to was being webbed himself. It had been an accident obviously, but that didn’t mean Peter was ecstatic to be webbed. Ah, well, it could have been worse, he thought. He could have been fighting Doc Ock again… or dead. “We could get out of them a different way,” he replied, shrugging. Peter had invented plenty of things to melt the webs, but that also meant he would have to be able to move. “So, how’s it hanging, Cindy?” He asked, hoping to spend some of the time here decently.

she hummed softly as a the curve on her lips was deceptively saccharine.  sauntering forward towards the other , she placed a hand on his cheek and patted it lightly. ❝ do i want to though  ❞ cindy inquired with a playful note to her voice. as she idly paced around him with a casual beat to her step. “❝ SHIELD accepted me into their headquarters again , ❞ she informed him of the most recent update . her last run in SHIELD didn’t last very long , so the moment she had been snapped back to existence -- she made it a point to do more

Bucky hadn’t been looking for trouble yet trouble always seemed to find him and this instance was no different. He understood he might’ve looked like a bad guy but he wasn’t doing anything wrong and yet he still found himself caught up in some sort of web type thing. “Isn’t there anything you can do? I’m starving,” He complained, letting his head fall back in dismay. Looks like he was stuck here for another 2 hours.

the complaints brought about a pout to her lightly shaded lips.  she could sympathize the unfortunate position , so she decided to display an act of kindness. she is a hero after all , or she would like to think she fell right into that category. she’s gotta get her powers back in check , but she is a little rusty. “ okay , how about this , i actually have a little more cash on me today , how about i treat you to lunch ? i don’t bite , unless necessary. “ she offered a sweet smile that disguised promising words.

and there’s nothing like ending a sunday with a heavy dosage of misfortune.not on her end , of course , but the responsibility is hers to take. lifting a chip up to her peony painted lips , she took a casual bite. ❝  the webs won’t let up for at least two hours , if you need anything we got two hours to kill and everything will go back to normal --- ish. ❞ the sympathetic curl existed , despite her words there is a genuine tone behind them.
