It might already have been obvious but I am taking a break from streaming for the time being.
There is just a lack of motivation for streaming specifically at the moment, but other content will continue! Let's Plays are still being edited & socials will remain activ!
(Please note that I do not understand Japanese and am relying on the English YouTube Captions on the Music Video itself to understand the Song.
Also warning: Also there was an animated Tarantula in the MV, I am not going to include direct screenshots of the Tarantula in this review, but there are 2 shots from the perspective of the Tarantula & one of the set pieces is absolutely made to look like a Tarantula.
Additionally I am aware that a B-Side is going to be release, I’ll listen to it when it’s release & if I have any thoughts worth sharing I’m gonna add them below)

About the MV, overall: Great.
Some questionable things but I’m used to that from Le Sserafim already so it’s on brand.
BUT MY DEAR GIVE ME A WARNING ABOUT THE TARANTULA, it’s animated so it’s kinda okay but I got scared there for a second.
I think the MV fits the Song & Le Sserafims general MV looks very well, it gives Le Sserafim, you know?
While I understand why the Backgrounds are mostly in muted colors & the styling is the most colorful, I think a bit more color overall would have done this MV well, if they wanted to have the blue of the drink as the strongest color they could have used contrasts with red-ish colors to archive the same thing.

…were a choice I don’t quite understand but works well.
These just seem random because these are the only three they did like this in a very short amount of time. If this was a continued theme I wouldn’t pull it out as odd, but here it is odd.
The sets are super nice. They fit the vibe really well - or rather are leading the vibe well.
In technically they have quite limited sets but they made good use of them.

On first listen, immediate banger. With Le Sserafims releases I haven’t had this immediate liking to a song since Antifragile so this is really nice, it’s so funky. I would like to point out whose lines I like most but I don’t have an answer? When it’s Kazuhas part it’s hers, when it’s Eunchaes part it’s hers, when it’s Sakuras part it’s hers, I won’t be able to make a decision here.
It’s quite short though. Especially when you consider how long they are actually singing which is barely over 2 minutes due to the lengthy instrumental intro.
- Lyrics
I like the lyrics! Fairly simple but the message is nice. A little pet peeve I have with translations is with lines like “The world line's open, another world” these types of word doubles (in this case ‘world’) in translations. While I don’t know how accurate these are, it does bother me just in terms of repetition. I am aware that this is sometimes also a result of sentence structure differences in languages but the way it looks here it does seem like a word double.
- Choreo
The Choreo is immensely good. I find myself often disliking Girl Group Choreos for various reasons, Different just…hits different I guess. The formations & formation changes are interesting but simple, there are a lot of individual steps I recognize from other girl group songs which I specifically remember liking so this is really really nice. It’s very fun & very fitting for the song.
- Performance
Performance wise I’m mildly worried, many of the lines are deeper and with the energy level of the choreo that might cause vocal instability. We’d obviously first have to actually hear them sing it live but that's my perception based on the song & choreo separately from each other.
I’m absolutely keeping my eye out for proper performances of Different.

(As the english versions only difference is the lyrics I will be focusing on that, Personally some english versions work & some don’t, I don’t base this on how well they translated it per se, it’s more about if it songs good & then if it matches the original (which in this case I will base on the MV English Subs as stated above)
And the English lyrics of Different Work! Hurray! I think they sound great, the flow of the song itself isn’t disrupted by the english lyrics, I think the “Tell me why you stand over there, When you could be right over here” is minimally awkward but I’m reaching.
In terms of keeping the meaning…eeehhhhhh seems that they lost a lot in favor of making it sound good, which isn’t horrible but it’s absolutely possible to translate songs while keeping the meaning (Cover Artists your type is needed)
The Visualizer is crazy, but to me it felt disorganized with the different types of game play they included. (it almost seems like a test run for something…)
It also bothered me a bit that the characters didn’t really look like the Members, I at least didn’t connect them, it seemed very disconnected.
- Styling:
Styling over all is very Le Sserafim, I don’t even know how to explain. Intricate patterns with somewhat odd but not on the first glance odd cuts & combos & the bright colors with some greys & blacks seem to be omnipresent with Le Sserafims styling (at least from what I have seen)
- Other Notes:
I have no idea what's going on with the celery but I like celery so great 10/10 for the celery.
