The IOMT chess pieces theory got me thinking about the GH5 concept trailer and the pairings we saw.

We have Rook vs Rook as Mingi and Yunho square off by quite literally towering over Hongjoong.

Knight vs Knight with San and Jongho, although they seem to be keeping distance between them.

Bishop vs Bishop with Yeosang and Wooyoung. They're even moving diagonal to each other like they would be on a chess board.

And finally...King vs Queen. In a total inverse, where the Queen usually protects the King, Seonghwa is targeting Hongjoong.

Might be coincidence, but it's definitely interesting.

Taehyung's joie de vivre is his most attractive quality. This guy is in the biggest group in the world, taking part in a massive world wide tour, fronts fashion and beauty campaigns taking him from Paris to Holywood....but he's still just a music geek who gets excited to see Busta Rhymes at the AMAs.

(I'm honestly not complaining that they get to be visibly as close as they actually are..

but something about Army doing a big switch up on enjoying Taekook now that Taekook have a logo slapped on them is a LITTLE eyeroll inducing.)

I've seen that bench beard guy frequently in their pics, is he a part of wooga? And that person on the right side of hyungshik too.

I'm not sure who the beard guy is, I haven't figured it out, but he's a regular and went to Hawaii for the Woogas trip recently. The guy in yellow is Nike Korea's marketing director Lee Taehoon, who has been close with them for ages. He also went to Hawaii.

Wooga sort of "traditionally" consists of the 4 in blue hats and Taehyung but I don't think a friend group can really have a formal arrangement? Wooshik said this recently:

Interested to hear people's thoughts on why there are no solo stages for this tour? I get that it's an album promo tour (the clues in the name) so the majority is Aririang songs and there are no solo songs on this album, but this comeback is after they've all released solo albums in the last 3/4 years they've been away (multiple albums in some cases) and only 3 members actually got to tour and perform this material.

Bighit are happy to have solo remixes, solo vinyl covers etc as cash grabs but not willing to give time on tour for solo performances?

So Namjoon performed CBTM and Jimin performed Like Crazy (??) on Yoongi's tour. Jungkook performed Seven and Taehyung Love Me Again on Jin's tour.

Yoongi, Jin and Hope all had their moment on tours. I wonder if they felt that was enough of a goodbye to solo era.

The question is whether it should be goodbye or whether they should stop pretending solo era was the darkest time in their history.

I wonder if some of them don't want to do it. But it's pretty common in kpop concerts so it's not like it would be weird.

Everything Jungkook has or has achieved is impossible without the BTS machine. It's important you remember that but more than anything, its of utmost importance that JUNGKOOK remembers that.
