Buttonholes!

I love making buttonholes, such little unique pieces of beauty, creativity and skill.

Using camellia & magnolia leaf, spray roses. rose, lisianthus buds, ivy berry, some foraged berries from a tree in the garden, twine and some special charms.

I know this is 5 months late, but better late then never! Plus I am loving revisiting these memories. 

The annual pilgrimage back home to the sunny state to see my family. This year the decorations effort was especially....SPECIAL! I spent a couple of days constructing a mighty wreath from vines in the garden and hung bottles with sprigs of holly, pots, decorations, bunting, just about anything from the roof. it looked amazing and created a very cosy & special Christmassy festive feeling.
