“Trap and skeet, have you done it before?” Sebastian asked. Granted, it probably wasn’t the smartest or safest idea to be the booming voice coming from behind someone with a loaded weapon but Bash hadn’t been a wealth of good ideas as of late. “Sorry, sorry.” He took a step back and offered hands of apology. “It’ll help your aim since things normally don’t stay still in real life.”
The voice seemed to have come out of nowhere, but Arcadia didn’t flinch. Her eyes moved from the target to find a man standing near her, one she hadn’t spoken to much. “It’s okay,” she replied with a soft smile. “I have done it before, yes, but I’m not practicing my reflexes right now. I’m trying to figure out if the arrows I made will actually withstand being shot.” She held up one of them for Sebastian to see. It was just a wooden shaft with an attached stone arrowhead; it was far from fancy. “They seem to be working alright so far.”
