this whole episode was just great in my opinion- from the soldier calmly going “what” when he sees a 7ft tall gargoyle charging at him, to Goliath doing the helicopter move on him, and then Xanatos just smacking the guy’s hand like “no”

Here's a totally Gaxlay brained scenario-Elisa gets hit on constantly by other male gargoyles, but is totally oblivious to the flirting. And Goliath tries very hard to let his jealousy show.

Started rewatching Gargoyles last night. I remember loving Elisa Maza, but now I just kinda wish she hadn’t been a cop.

the fact that she was a cop makes me happy bc she used her authority and power to care, protect, and defend innocent people and to protect her friends and family. She was and still is an example of what a true cop is... some cops need to take notes.

Not only that but she didn’t judge based on looks either.

I’ve always wanted to be a police officer  and eventually a detective, like Elisa Maza from Gargoyles. She was my role model growing up. However, with recent events about police violence, I have a lot of mixed feelings now about going into law enforcement. And the recent events have (And I hate to admit this) have even made me not like Elisa as much as I used to.

#elisa maza is one of the best cops out there and will always be. If anything she makes me want to be one so I can do good like her. Cause she doesn’t use her power to get what she wants she uses her power to protect her family and friends and innocent citizens
