"Yeah baby, I do." Paxton whispered back, stroking Archer’s hair. "My Achilles."
He almost winces at the sound of his own name. "Patroclus," he says cautiously. "My Patroclus. You're my only reason for living."
Paxton hummed happily. “Yes, well, I do like when you do that.”
Archer pulled away and rested his forehead against Paxton's. "I love you, you know that, right?"
"You’re a grown-ass man. I think you can tie a tie. Come m’ere, let me help you."
"You're so much better at it than I am though. And it gives me an excuse to do this," and he leaned in to press his lips to Paxton's.
"Well, I’m sure your…friend would appreciate that," she smiled knowingly.
"I hope so, I have a lot to make up for."
"It would but you’ve tied it wrong."
"Well it's not my job to tie my own ties..."
"Yeah, looks great. Maybe you should try tucking your shirt in. Depends which impression you want to leave."
"And what kind of impression does an untucked shirt leave?"
“Better without.”
"Really? Is it too fancy? I could try another tie."
"Almost, if you just tuck in your shirt a little." She smiled. "Going somewhere?"
"I'm going to see.... a friend. It's gonna be a surprise."
"Does this look okay?"
"Well if it is a punishment I don’t think it’s a very good one, what are we supposed to learn from it?"
"I don't think it's meant to be any kind of lesson. We're just supposed to feel pain, because we caused so much of it."
