"If you don't mind me asking what exactly did you wish for?" He questioned curiously. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." He added, quickly. The last thing he wanted was to make her more upset then she already seemed to be.

pandora had to cover her mouth to stop herself from squealing, though even that couldn’t hide the large grin she was sporting. “i’d love for you to be my boyfriend!” she said quickly, jumping up and down on the spot.

Once she answered he almost couldn’t believe it, but soon after he began to grin uncontrollably. “You would? Oh I’m so glad!” he replied. Slowly he reached up and gently cupped her cheek in his hand, “Miss pandora, I believe there is something I still owe you from the dance.” he replied, there was almost a glimmer in his eyes as he looked down at her.

“Well, if you introduce me to her, I promise I’ll try to be on my best behavior.” He chuckled and pushed him lightly.

“Oh Thank you so much Varg, I will.” he said, grinning widely. “You’ll... you’ll love her I just know you will.” he assured him. “I just can’t believe it.. I’ve never had a girlfriend before.” he chuckled

“You are?” Archer asked, clearly flattered by the sentiment. “Thank you. You should meet her sometime Varg she’s absolutely amazing!” he gushed.

pandora blinked. she knew what she wanted to be, but after the dance disaster, she wanted to hear archer’s opinion first. “i… what do you want to be?”

Archer had smiled softly, as he looked down at her. “Well I.. I would like to be whatever you want to be.” he answered shyly. “ I mean I’d love to be your boyfriend..if you wouldn’t mind that is..” he began stumbling over his words again.

“ursula,” beatrix muttered. it had happened a month ago now and she still wasn’t over it. “that trifling motherfucking sea wench bitch –”

“Oh.. that.” Archer replied, nodding somberly. He didn’t want to think about that night again but he wanted to help Beatrix if he could. “It wasn’t anyone’s fault.. well expect for her’s.” he said sheepishly.

pandora froze. she knew this conversation would come up sooner or later, but she still didn’t know what he would say. she was sure he’d been about to kiss her before ursula appeared, but she didn’t know whether his opinion of her had changed. “o-oh? what about us?”

Archer stared down at his hands bashfully. “I.. I was wondering what we were..well..are?” he asked finally glancing up at her.

“but it is,” she wailed, subdued only by the feeling of her hair being stroked. she was a cat – being petted was always a nice feeling. “if i hadn’t made that stupid, stupid wish!”

The last thing he wanted was her blaming herself. He gently shushed her and cupped her cheek in his hand, wiping away her tears with his thumb. “You didn’t know. You couldn’t possibly have known her intentions.” he tried to reassure her. “Please don’t cry..” he begged. “There’s something I still owe you.” he said, with the tiniest of smiles.

despite him telling her not to cry, she couldn’t help herself, and soon she was sobbing as she clung to him as tightly as she could. “i-i’m so sorry –”

He continued to hold her, as she cried. He gently ran his fingers through her hair, hoping it might calm her a little. “Please don’t be sorry.. it wasn’t your fault.” he promised her, nearly whispering.
