In case anyone was wondering why GLAAD had to come out with a bi-specific guide for the media.

In case anyone was wondering what the part in their style guide about not calling bi people “allies” was all about.

In case anybody still thinks “bi people are only affected by homophobia,” here’s just one tiny drop in the bucket of “shit that actually happens specifically to bisexuals and is not a part of homophobia.”

We’re actively pushed back in the closet, constantly, even after we publicly come out TO the media, which also tends to treat bi people coming out as a quirky lie. And this happens equally in the “LGBT” and straight media. I think that’s super weird, tbh.
