I should probably put more effort into allowing myself to be percieved
Life update
Finally got my driving permit🤘 er, sort of, I need a medical clearance to go thru first but that should be fine, seizure-free for over a year and fully episode-free for about 6mos. Are they gonna make me have a disability stamp thingy on my license or plates? I don't generally share that info about myself irl unless necessary, and I didnt realize it was serious enough to apply😶
Anyway, the driving thing is mostly for my dog but it'll be fun for me too. I need the ability to get him to fun fulfilling places safely, and moving has changed the safety ratio of walking to driving. But uhhhh I kinda still need a car, like yeah I helped pay for my partner's car and she'd totally let me use it but I dont wanna risk her only work transportation more than necessary.
I guess that brings me to why this blog is still barely hanging on by a thread despite my irl practices—I'm trying out bigger projects. Photos, it's not super safe to walk around the neighborhood like I used to, and the house is our safe place for wild uncareful fun and exercise so slice of life snapshots are mostly out. Behind the curtain comp practice between aesthetic trips now, sorry about that. (Although I do have a backlog ready for editing, they'll be here soon depending on ur definition of "soon") Animation, I'm not working on a garage floor and broken android note anymore so flipbooks and mini loops are out. I have an office, desk, tablet, projector, paper and hole punchers and tools and space. So...
I'm studying, you will (hopefully) see it if you'd like. But I'm still in love with frame by frame (masochism) and I still work alone (I reiterate) so it's more or less as slow as ever. BUT there's this particular public domain film that imo could use a more respectful polish than past remakes, and I'm studying it anyway so... double study. It gets to be my rotoscope and production study in addition to film theory study. And when it's done, there'll be a new animated, albeit unoriginal but I digress, feature length film in the world. I'll study writing on a different day, i.e. on the side in my secret project. Eggs n baskets n all. But analysis paralysis is so real and so dangerous. Whatever happens, I've gotta keep moving.

I’m losing my faith in our lives apart
figured it would be nice to wrap up this sketch this weekend! :-) 🌟💛
Oh boy in hindsight it's really obvious I hated where I was these last few years huh? Quite literally got worse at composition during that period.

Kabul Dreams - Sadae Man 2010
Kabul Dreams is a rockband from Afghanistan, established in 2008 in Kabul. The band has paved the way for a modest but growing rock scene in Afghanistan, rebuilding itself after decades of war. The band's motivation to perform came from their own love for music, but also from a public hunger for a new life after war – a life that included new music and art. Kabul Dreams plays music in both English and Dari; one of Afghanistan's native languages. The song "Sadae Man" ("My Voice") is about the importance of Afghanistan's youth having a collective voice.
All of the band members were born in Afghanistan, but they were displaced to neighboring countries as refugees during the Taliban reign. After the fall of the Taliban regime, the band members returned to Afghanistan and met each other in Kabul. Their musical influences include Sex Pistols, Metallica, Nirvana and Oasis. In 2014, the band relocated to Oakland, California to grow their presence in the American music scene.
"Sadae Man" received a total of 79,2% yes votes!
