FINALLY got down some gjinka designs for ... the rides everyone does gjinkas of. I want to do some of other AT rides later. Optional notes below cut.
I imagine that the gjinkas are kind of like a darkner situation, in which they are both the rides and the "people", being not entirely human, but appearing so to handle marketing. The Smiler and Oblivion kind of have a Pinky and the Brain-esque dynamic, make of that what you will. They would be partnered together due to the real life rides being in such close proximity in the park, despite ostensibly being polar opposites.
In the hypothetical universe where the Smiler is Lore Accurate:tm: to Smile Always, she would run the Ministry in secret and her name would probably be "Dr. Lauer" or something, but insists everyone call her the Smiler, after the correctional device. 'Cause she's crazy. (Lauer being short for Gerstlauer, the real-life manufacturer that made the Smiler ride as their first infinity coaster.)
FUN FACT: The joke in the first image is based off of the absolute ubiquitousness of Fanta advertisements on the Oblivion ride that were present for a spell. It was so overwhelming, go look for yourself.
FUN FACT 2: The Smiler's casualwear is pretty much exactly what the walkaround staff / shop runners were meant to wear in summer, according to concept art.
