School year is almost done! I went to a BBQ tonight after school sponsored by the community. :) Good ending to a rotten day!

Had fun for crazy hair day at school and during the NANA Nordic ski lessons! The kids were awesome...It was not really my thing, lol! Either way this week is looking good!

Dyed eggs with my students for Easter this week! They enjoyed it, even though the first egg dyed has "ADEE SUCK!" written on it!

Got to watch the teams coming through town for the Kobuk 440 today! I am so excited to be returning to Selawik next year. :) Mushers above include Jeff King, Kristin Bacon, and Tim Pappas! 🐕❄️💕

Found this guy outside of my house this morning...it looks like he was trying to find a warm place to sleep out of the wind but froze. :(

Stella and I have been doing our best to stay warm! Spring break is just finishing up, and the push to the end of the school year is here. I am counting down the weeks!

For my birthday I got a puppy! Her name is Stella, and she is a miniature dachshund. She's a pretty cool puppy and a great companion for all my wanderlust. :)

I had lots of fun in Anchorage! My co-teacher and her husband treated me to a birthday dinner at Bennihanas...I had chicken and it was delicious! I got to see some ice sculptures in the park and got some awesome badges for my name tags! My birthday breakfast also included some freshly made pastries and a fancy smoothie in a fancy glass! Great trip :)

Hello Anchorage! Spending my birthday weekend at the Statewide Special Education Teachers Conference. :)

Walked to the store tonight and my eyelashes froze! It was about 35 below zero. I also got a picture of one of our churches here in town!

Had a great time with family and friends over break...now back to reality. See you in May, Heuvelton!
