It’s about the trash. Whether we see it, write about it, photograph it, ignore it, pick it up and throw it away, leave it or whatever really doesn’t matter. Or does it? At the end of the day nobody really cares, right? Why should I? It’s a matter of freewill and whether to live as a moral agent and do the right thing but one must choose their battles. I’ll pick one up here and there and toss it if convenient. Some people are nostalgic and expect to see them laying on every corner. Some people don’t notice at all. Some people from other places ask me what it’s all about. Mostly I’m just documenting them as sort of a visual study of how this particular object relates to the neighborhood.
