I really want Grist to not only have kept its spark, but also to show up in a standard set so the Gatewatch has to deal with the planeswalking murder swarm going bzz bzz all over the place like...
Vivien: Be careful, the Hunger Tide has take this area of the plane as its territory. We don't want to fight it.
Kaya: The Hunger Tide?
Vivien: it's a planeswalking insect swarm.
Kaya:
Kaya: You're telling me half the planeswalkers I know lost their sparks, but these BUGS didn't?
grist is a singular lady bug who did noy understand bipeds as sapient. grist isnt a hive herself but moreso the universal bug queen to make any local plane's bugs eusocial. grist stopped murdering after being told hey watch it these are people she went o fuck my bad.

planning to make 3 cards on edhrec the highest percentage wise for hisoka, minamo sensei.
these 3 cards.
btw theres at time of post only 18 hisoka decks so i will fuck up the deck list percentages with the power of friendship.
everything has updated. its beautiful. it took a while but its beautiful. the test is complete. now commences pt 2.
the only issue is that Bazaar of Baghdad has not updated yet. hisoka should be the top commander at this rate but nothing has changed. it might take a bit and maybe this section is moderated but oh everything is coming together for my next plan
panharmonicongate here i come
need more reason for snow topped peaks in your red centered turbofog deck?
you dont have a red centered turbofog deck...?
This card periodically stalks my color color-pie-bending dreams.
But since I haven’t got a red snow deck, I haven’t had to consider it’s inclusion.
i personally believe that all decks should use snow basics for optimization (context being cost is not an issue play on cockatrice or use proxies y'all) because cards like arcum's astrolabe (this blogs namesake card) are one of the best mana filters in existence, i personally believe you do not need a dedicated snow list.
i would put this guy as my top pick for funsies in commander.
A deck created using the deck building website, Moxfield.
i also play a lot of tiny leaders so this is my artifact stax + land fog. i probably could easily make this better as a commander list (mainly because tiny leaders reborn is way too fast for this tomfoolery of a deck) so meria would be my second pick just cuz she is fun but in terms of strength a crevasses turbofog list would use... i will give you all a second to guess it...
just so much synergy...
I certainly agree that astrolabe is a great mana filter, but I don’t look at your Meria Tiny Leaders list and see the overwhelming power of snow. But astrolabe only gets you so far in a singleton format.
You’ve got neither Skred, Tundra Fumarole, Dark Depths & Thespian Stage, or Into the North, to say nothing of Actual Snow Staple Extraplanar Lens.
tiny leaders is a 1v1 format, playing ramp like into the north and extraplanar lens are extreme tempo killers and do you nothing.
tundra fumarole and skred are too inconsistent due to needing varying types of mana from non snow sources for consistency.
like i said its just a funny little list that could be expanded into a greater concept in edh if given card space.
as for dark depths i just didnt add it, its ine of the biggest archetypes in the format and I wanted to do something else entirely with lands.
in addition this list would, as aforementioned, be better in the hands of klothys, however, even then I would find skred and fumarole as quite awkward, by turn 3 or turn 4 you usually want to cast your commander and fumarole prevents that quite easily and would be much better as a lightning bolt or chain lightning. also i would run glacial chasm with ramunap excavator and crucible in the mix for recursion. tiny leaders reborn is a fast format more akin to legacy lite than edh / commander so playing efficiently and as best suited is preferred.
a deck archetype i have innovated in tiny leaders dubbed dim sum.
running it tourney but after i might cut the samwise cat combo because it is very inconsistent and leads to viscera seer feeling like a shit card always. probably replacing for orcish bowmasters.

are there Art Deco full art snow lands?
no?
snow lands can go fuck themselves
Asking the real questions, honestly.
I’ve got 1 dedicated snow deck that generally has a profusion of gameplans, but I’ve not rushed to put the supertype into every deck for want of payoffs aligned with other things I’m doing. If there was a bunch of Snow Gates around or something, I’d be on that like white on sushi rice, but the mechanic is just thinly supported.
the support for snow lands is due to the desire for wotc game designers not to make a type of basic thats strictly better than normal basics. support is so thin for game balance.
