RULES & HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR POLL
Just send them in our inbox; the question you want to ask (the poll you want us to post), followed by the options for people to vote.
If you donāt provide us any options, we can and will be happy to make them for you (though we canāt guarantee that the options we provide will always meet the answer youāre looking for).
That being said, you can simply tell us to include āthis specific optionā and let us come up with the rest of the options. weāll also be happy to do that.
We will publish your ask indirectly by making a new post with your given question and options (not by directly posting - answering - from the question in our inbox), which means every single poll we post will be posted anonymously.
We may make some slight adjustments to the wording to make it more clear and easier to understand.
If an option or a question is biased, rude or judgmental, we will alter the wording to make it neutral too
Tumblr only allows 80 characters max per option ā so please be mindful of that. any option that exceeds Tumblr's limits in terms of character length will be edited/shortened by us. If you wouldn't like for your options to be altered, please make sure they're within 80 characters max.
Tumblr only allows 12 options max per each poll. ā If you sent us a poll that had more than 12 options, we simply couldn't include all of them in said poll.
We have the rights to refrain from publishing any poll that we believe might be harmful.
Please be patient! We may not publish your poll right away, since it'll go to our queues, and we try not to publish too many polls in one day (so we wouldn't clog up our followers' dashboards).
Since we received comments like āWhy isnāt there this option in this poll?ā, āThere should have been that option in that pollā a lot, weād like to make it clear that the reason why these options didnāt make it into the polls is simply because neither us nor the submitters thought of them. Simply. Sorry, but we canāt please everybody.
That being said, we do try to add the āSomething else that isnāt mentioned here (feel free to speak your mind)ā option into our polls, so you could elaborate if youād like.
We welcome disagreements and discussions, as long as you remain civil and respectful to other people. Any harassment will get you blocked.
* Also keep in mind that some polls may be highly controversial or triggering (we believe in morbid curiosity), and some may not be suitable for minors.
** āCan you let us know when the result of this polls areāā no. We canāt. Sorry. We have hundreds of poll requests in our inbox/queue. Once we queued your poll, we delete your request from the inbox and we donāt keep tabs on/donāt remember who sent what polls (there are hundreds of them). Our job is only to make polls for you, but we will not alert you when theyāre published or when the results are final. Frankly, thatās too much work for us since weāre doing this for free (if we do it for you, weāll have to do it for hundreds of other people and unless we get paid, weāre not doing that lol). We wonāt publish polls that have already been submitted and posted on other poll blogs word to word (not talking about polls about the same topic, but polls that were literally copied and pasted from other blogs word for word, questions and options), that wouldāve been rude on our part (and quite frankly, copying polls from other blogs and submitting them to us is rude on your part too).
We do engage with other poll blogs and do see what polls they were given, copying those polls word for word and submitting them to us will get you blocked.
If you see us post polls that were originally from other blogs, again, not talking about polls about the same topics but polls that were the exact replica of other blogs, please know that we genuinely donāt know they have already been done by someone else, as we would never steal from anybody. Please also do let us know (preferably with the time stamp of the poll being posted before ours) and weāll take them down immediately.
