This season was the hardest time of my life. It was really hard to just sit on the sofa at home [due to my injury] and watch through my phone and the internet as everyone else was able to compete and win their medals, especially when I didn’t even have the chance to be there. It was the first time I had experienced something like this. I had so many things on my mind, so many negative thoughts and it was an Olympic Season. But I had so much motivation as well as support from my family and friends. I didn’t do this alone. I think if I were alone, I would not have even been able to go to the Olympics.—Evgenia Medvedeva

One of the greatest skaters of our time, Evgenia Medvedeva, who has recently won the olympic silver medal at PyeongChang 2018. She was also European and World champion in 2016 and 2017.
