Africa and Daisy the Giraffe - adventures in Kenya

After the Littworld conference in Limuru, Kenya, the guys (Eric Villarama and Alex Flek from Prague) and I went for a day "safari". We went to an elephant orphanage (see separate album), a giraffe reserve and a walking 'safari'/game reserve where we saw close up Rhinos, Lions, Leopard and petted a friendly, orphaned cheetah (see next album). I kissed a giraffe (after Eric dared me to) -- or rather it was Daisy, the giraffe, doing the kissing and had to confess to Tingting later on... was forgiven. Happy days!

The Promise Keepers Conference - The Heart of Healing

Last Saturday, March 7, I gave a talk on the touchy subject: Breaking Free from Sexual Sin at the Promise Keepers Annual Mens Conference. I was sandwiched between Peter Kairuz and Ptr Clem Guillermo, two great speakers in the Christian conference circuit. It was a memorable experience--was nervous, but thank God all went well. More than a thousand appreciative delegates were there at the conference with the theme The Heart of Healing (yes, borrowed from the title of my book :-). Can you figure out the t-shirt I am wearing? That was the crux of my message (no pun intended.) --- thanks to Edwin Arceo of CBN Asia for giving me these photos. He was there to take pics of Peter Kairuz so that's why the file names of the pics are labeled Peter at Promise Keepers. Thanks Edwin!

My first Godson Matt with my first son, Josh

Matt is like my son. He is my eldest sister Sharon's son. Tingting and I carried him around and babied him when he was, well, a baby. Now, Matt and I hang out watching Pacquiao's fights, eat Halo2 at Razon's and play Fifa on PS3. Here's Matthew with my first son, Joshua. They get along pretty well. Josh likes Matt a lot as you can see :-)

Year in Review - September 08 - Singapore meeting with Tony Buzan and International Mindmappers

This meeting was memorable because I was able to spend much time with Tony Buzan. We exchanged books. At my presentation, I gave a copy of my book, The Heart of Healing, which is the first Philippine book that has a Mind Map of the contents printed in it, to Mind Mapping inventor, Tony Buzan. After I told him about Joshua also, Tony gave me a copy of his book (one of his more than 90 titles) Brain Child (How smart parents make smart kids). On this trip I was also with Philippine BLI (Buzan Licensed Instructor - Eric Villarama) and BLIs from all over Asia.
