José Félix Uriburu born in Salta, Argentina on July 20, 1868- died in exile, Paris, France 1932, was an argentine military, president of the Argentine Nation, the first miliraty goverment from September 8, 1930 to February 20, 1932.
On September 6, 1930, Uriburu led a populist coup supported by a large part of the army that overthrew the freemason HipĂłlito Yrigoyen and established a conservative and anti-freemason regime, as well as anti-jewish. The first Coup of State of a series that would extend until 1983.
In addition, the coup ended a period of half a century of internal peace and continuous progress of the country in the economic, political and cultural. It was also the first time on the continent that fascism raised its head; the first in the history of the country that the Armed Forces spearheaded political power and in such a popular way.
Nationalism was consolidated as a political force that was already felt in the 30s, with the regime of Uriburu, and support, became the chosen movement. The movement of nationalists emerged as opposition to freemasonry in 1910, with a naturality of third position. After the arrival of Benito Mussolini to power in Italy because of the March on Rome, the nationalists tended to follow the new movement that interested them. This was fascism.
