I also really want to write Erin Lindsay from Chicago PD because Erin Lindsay is a character I've fallen in love with.
@argentxarcheresse || random bc reasons
“your mother would be proud to see you like this.” melancholy. grief was evident, but it was buried underneath something else entirely. chris was happy. to see his daughter graduate, moving on with life after all that happened, he couldn’t be happier. he missed victoria, he did, but she’d made that decision & he had been in no position to stop her. people make choices & others had to live with those. he did. “you look beautiful today.”
Allison’s mother taught her how to be strong – but she also taught her that being strong means suppressing your emotions, though these aren’t necessarily mutually exclusive things. Her mother- and Allison still loves her; because even after all of the horrible things- the lying, the manipulation, doing too much and too little- after all of that she was still her mother. It’s becoming easier to swallow, the duality of loving someone so much while hating everything they stood for. She smiles, brightly, in spite of it and she can feel the emotion welling up in her throat; because she didn’t think they’d make it here. She didn’t think she would make it here- but somehow she did and she fights the urge to hide the emotion on her face; because she and her dad- they’re past that now.
She’s proud of them.
She takes a deep breath and leans in to hug her father, wraps her arms around him tightly and kisses him on the cheek.
“We’re going to be late” she breaths before stepping back. Her hands clasp around the bullet necklace against her skin, the smooth texture of the metal warm against her calloused fingers.
Alright while I have some free time before the semester gets crazy, please send me stuff of respond to my open starters. I want to get back on this some.
Take iron my mother says...you'll feel better. Well I'm super I'll. And two days before my birthday. Anyways if anyone wants to write something let me know, I'm stuck on the couch anyways.
Let me know if anyone feels like writing anything.
I'm still around just sort of lurking while finishing up real life stuff.
I'm still around. Work is just usually exhausting.
"you're standing a little to close to me..."
“Am I?” Scott asked, a small smile on his face. He shrugged, leaning back on the wall. “Are you complaining?”
“We’re uh in public” Allison drew, eyebrow quirked skeptically as she studied Scott. She almost couldn’t contain the smile from her lips, a short breath of a giggle escaping her lips, “That depends....wouldn’t want to cause any unwanted ‘bodily functions’” she teased, brushing her hand briefly over the bulge in his jeans.
"you're standing a little to close to me..."
“Am I?” Scott asked, a small smile on his face. He shrugged, leaning back on the wall. “Are you complaining?”
“Well then I guess this would be a bad time to suggest you picturing me naked” Allison teased, resting her back against the other wall.
"you're standing a little to close to me..."
“Am I?” Scott asked, a small smile on his face. He shrugged, leaning back on the wall. “Are you complaining?”
“Normally no” she admitted slightly flustered; “But uh I can feel part of you doing something- and it’s definitely not your hands...”
Send ✧ for me to make an open starter.
Whether it’s angst, smut, fluff, etc.
If anyone wants to write or plot hit me up- I wouldn’t mind the distraction.
reblog for science if you don’t want your female muses sheltered or protected from edgy / dark muses or situations.
I'm home from work and shit. I'm exhausted but I'm here.
due to personal reasons I will be cheating death
Anger is good, it's healthy and more importantly it carries her through her darkest moments the next few months. The moments where she wants to give up, where she’s exhausted; and thinks maybe she is weak- maybe they were right about her being fragile. Those moments when she catches glimpses of the pack- of Scott and Lydia and ducks behind shelves or trees- anything- to avoid them even though she knows they can smell her and hear her heartbeat- those moments that end up leaving her feeling stupid and naive and more like the girl who moved to Beacon Hills and didn’t know werewolves existed- makes her feel all the ways that she never felt like that when she really was all of those things.
And it would be so easy just to break down and tell Scott everything- because he’s right, it would be less stressful; but she can’t- not yet anyways. And there’s a part of her- one she’s ignored or has yet to acknowledge, that knows that she will go back. She’ll tell them everything, at some point and all of isolation and independence will be enough- she will kill enough evil things to satisfy her need to regain some control- she’ll be fearless again. And then she can come back and be honest and maybe things will start to feel normal again; and she’ll sleep at night without waking up screaming and clutching at her chest. They’ll be angry with her- for abandoning them, for ignoring them and cutting them out, rejecting them; and stupidly risking her life. And facing that will be difficult too- maybe even more so than what she’s doing now; but she will work harder to let them in, to depend on them- she’ll work to be a team player and she’ll feel like she’s worth having on the team.
At some point, it will all be enough and she truly believes that in her heart of hearts- but not now, not yet.
“I’m sorry” she says again, trying to ignore the butterflies in her stomach at Scott’s bashful confession, “I missed you too” she admits; because of course she missed him- she loves him and will probably always love him with a ferocity that terrifies her; because she’s never needed someone as much as she needs Scott (even if she’s not ready to admit that).
Allison ducks her head so that her hair falls haphazardly into place; trying to shield herself from his oncoming disappointment, “I just…need time. I know you don’t understand; but I need you to trust me.”
She waits a beat before taking his hand in hers, looking him in the eyes, “I meant what I said when....” she pauses, swallowing roughly at the memory of almost bleeding to death in his arms, “You know- I meant it. But I need to do this on my own.”
