One constant opinion that I have had while rewatching PLL, is that both Cody Christian and Mike Montgomery deserved way better. I know he wasn’t the main character and that Mike was absent a lot especially in the end because of Cody’s other projects, but he had so much potential. Considering how awesome and different Cody was on Teen Wolf and the other shows and films he has been in, this show really underused his talent.

I haven’t been a fan of Caleb for ages now, and I kinda would’ve wanted to know how Hanna and Mike’s relationship would’ve turned out to be like in the show. After knowing that those two were one of the main couples in the book, this “one time thing that embarrassed us both”-thing the writers came up with felt like a slap in the face (kinda the same thing than with Naria). Still, I really liked Mike and Mona together and would have wanted to see more scenes of them and potentially getting together in the end.

I’ve told you before that I somewhat understand why Mike didn’t want to show up to his parents’ wedding, but I really think he should’ve been at Aria’s wedding. I’m also really sad that we didn’t see the reunion between him and Aria when the girls got out of the Dollhouse, except those two scenes in 6x07 - and that we never saw him again and Mona never talked about him after that.
