You don’t know me. You just know that I drink too much coffee but you never ask why I’m always tired.

It seemed like you could know me. Like you could understand anything I told you. And the more we spoke, I knew why. The same things excited us. The same things concerned us.
Jay Asher, Thirteen Reasons Why (via wordsnquotes)
No relationship is perfect, ever. There are always some ways you have to bend, to compromise, to give something up in order to gain something greater…The love we have for each other is bigger than these small differences. And that’s the key. It’s like a big pie chart, and the love in a relationship has to be the biggest piece. Love can make up for a lot.
Sarah Dessen (via purplebuddhaproject)
When they were together like that, they had been their own private universe, bounded just by themselves, a population of two. They were the world, and the world was them.
Patrick Ness, More than this (via books-n-quotes)
I don’t need another temporary person. I want someone who, even when I am an unlovable mess, will look at me with love in their eyes and stay.

“I’m a heart-breaker. I’ll crumble everything into pieces and still love you in the end. I’m a paradoxical tragedy. I’ll speak of the light but soon after find my blanket of darkness and mourn in the depths of my soul. I’ve got soul-finding on my to-do list. So baby, let me find my way”

I’m a human who enjoys her solitude, who thrives in her independence. Silence, contemplation, observation… It’s calming, it keeps the mind at ease, in harmony, with peace… It flourishes with self love. If too many moments proceed without a pause containing only my own company, deterioration slowly emerges within. It’s a health-conscious ritual, really.

Apparently orgasm is the only point where your mind becomes completely empty—you think of nothing for that second. That’s why it’s so compelling—it’s a tiny taste of death. Your mind is void—you have nothing in your head save white light.
Jeff Buckley (via thequotejournals)
STILL TRUE
i appreciate that he used a black, lesbian couple and their beautiful black baby to illustrate this point because i am damn tired of neil patrick harris being the face of queer struggle
^^ exactly. It’s important.
*complains about being tired* * doesn’t sleep until 3am*
lately i’ve been replacing my “i’m sorry”s with “thank you”s, like instead of “sorry i’m late” i’ll say “thanks for waiting for me”, or instead of “sorry for being such a mess” i’ll say “thank you for loving me and caring about me unconditionally” and it’s not only shifted the way i think and feel about myself but also improved my relationships with others who now get to receive my gratitude instead of my negativity
This is some 2017 mood
Tell me exactly how much of your mind I touch every day.

I have an “I’m so gay” moment at least ten times a day
