So I just finished with Chapter 5 of Deltarune, and a certain group got me thinking; "Toby Fox, are you lowkey pleading to the fandom to play one of your favorite games 'LIVE A LIVE' so they'll get off your back, even for a while?"
This has spoilers pertaining to Chapter 5, so please make sure you've seen the staff roll beforehand!
Seven Flowers of a Bouquet, maintained for long by one man.
Seven Heroes of Different Times, and one more.
And how I believe that they're compared and contrasted with the other.
Aqua shares similarities to Pogo, (second-)shortest, goofy, childish and hitting before asking.
Seth shares Oboro's color motif, intelligence and focus on the mission. (Speaking of ninja, there's the Shinobeetles in the chapter...)
Yellow, like Sundown are sharpshooting cowboys who lack the will to live. In contrast, Yellow is a bumbling, emotional sheriff while Sundown is a quiet, stern outlaw.
Blue is wise, calm and willing to take action when things go wrong, like the Earthen Heart Shifu.
Orange initially seems like a Masaru copy - fight-happy and proclaims themselves as the "Strongest"... But also has a trait from the Earthen Heart Inheritors - Lei's brashness and both being girls, Hong's hunger, and Yun's timidness. And is the smallest and the "non-human" of the group, like Cube. Speaking of...
Green, like Cube are kindly healers who do not communicate verbally and are associated with food (coffee at least for Cube). However, Green dislikes fighting and would rather give support on the sidelines while Cube is willing to pull out a cannon to defend his human friends when push comes to shove.
And last but not least, Flowery.
He is a parallel and contrast to Akira and Oersted(...initially).
For the psyker, they have the tendency to get on other people's nerves (Taeko and Ralsei), use their fists in a fight, a theme song with LYRICS and admire a troubled adult man (Asgore and Lawless). In contrast, Akira is a punk with a snarky yet laidback personality while Flowery dresses like a prep and has a polite yet hyperactive nature.
For the knight, he shares his benevolence and valiant loyalty to the king of his kingdom, and a rivalry with a mage (Streibough and Ralsei, again).
For both, they are the "Pretty Boy", spiky golden hair (although Akira only has a metallic highlight), possess a longcoat/cloak and are all willing to go down swinging to save their family/friends/world.
You've got a severe amount of backup plans and scheming, right? Away from the meeting room with all the these terribly greedy people like the whiny spoiled pearl-clutcher,
and the nasty-smelling EAU Grandad rep,
and the Wyrmy Pentex burger lady,
and the Protestants with guns!
I know Amanda, Grimal, Elise and Harry aren't in there, you better have them eavesdropping, I doubt the Security Goons are gonna be of much help.
And maybe have them contact someone more trustworthy like any remaining D-Family members that aren't as scattered around the world,
the Nails of Christ group that the late Wernon called family.
Or the Radiant Courts, Magical Girls|Guys|Enbys on average finish their would execute their plans faster than dubious higher-ups in a company!
