✨It's time for the intro post!✨

Hiiii everyone who accidentally or intentionally got into my blog!

I'm Arina, but you also can call me Ari or Akai! I'm more used to such pronounces as he/him and she/her, but you can use any of other this way. Rus/eng, first I write in Russian, then I try to translate into English. Here you can find my digital and traditional drawings, paintings, and also short stories that I write in my free from student affairs time. So far, it is difficult for me to post my work regularly, after all the workload in studies becomes less and less bearable. But I'll try to feed you content more often! I sit a little bit in really different fandoms, from Undertale, My Hero Academy and HTTYD to Mandela Catalogue and the Backrooms, but mostly I watch Hermitcraft, and most of the drawings and writings I create are with characters from there so far. Or with my OC, but I'll post it later.

I also don't have a very negative attitude towards the AIs themselves, but I'm not going to justify those who freaking steal other people's work or/and personality to create generative AI content based on them. It sucks, it's really bad, and as a person who sometimes creates bots on c. ai from scratch (yes, I draw avatars for them myself and write MY OWN ideas and MY OWN texts, WITHOUT using text generators for greetings and plots) I am ashamed of those who act in this way, without even asking for the consent of artists and writers, and also pass off generative content as their work. I condemn this, I do not reconcile myself to the theft of intellectual property. My position is that you can do anything with the AI, as long as you don't steal content and don't try to show it as your own. Welcome to Elementra

Hello and welcome to nightmare spawn of our creation: Elementra! MCYT/general minecraft inspired comic's official blog here on tumblr! Introductions are in order but that'll be it's own thing, soon. Promise. For now FAQ's: What is Elementra? Elementra is a web-comic starting eventually about the trials and tribulations of a group of weirdos navigating a patchwork fantasy world. 6 years in the making, Elementra has something for everyone. What Genre is Elementra? Elementra I'd describe as a patchwork fantasy setting, it's got a little of everything from steampunk to Dark Souls you'll find it here. As for the story itself it's a coming of age story about discovering the past. Who runs the Elementra Blog/Is writing Elementra? Elementra has had many hands in the pot of making it what it is but the main writer is me, Rainoftime3, with the fantastic cowriter of Ender my best friend. The blog itself is accessed by Rain, Ender and our friend who I will name eventually if he wants to be (He is eeping as I write this). Who is the artist for Elementra? Currently that's our holdup. This will be edited once we have an artist. Where can I access Elementra? Currently I will be writing a starter on AO3 and then the comic will either be "published" here or on a website. Stay tuned for that! How can I support Elementra? For now? Follow this blog and share it around! This is basically a litmas test to see who is interested so support is necessary.

The second piece I contributed to the @mcyt-couture-zine , this one in collaboration with the incredible @earlrot ! I did the lines, he did the gorgeous colors/rendering, and we both brainstormed together on the outfit design. It was super super fun to collaborate with Earlrot on this artwork (everybody go compliment him rn!!!) and I absolutely adore how it came out :D

I think the most fundamental rule I keep in mind whenever I'm characterizing Grian is that everything is his responsibility.

As hyper-critical as he can be of other people, whenever something goes wrong Grian always blames himself ten times more than he blames anyone else. This, combined with the fact that Grian is a very anxious personality with a tendency to catasrophize small issues into massive ones, results in overbearing neurotic behavior as he tries to manage other people- because he thinks it's his job to manage them and that if his allies mess up it's his fault for not managing them well enough- as well as his huge internalized guilt complex and tendency to blow up any mistake he makes.

This is worsened by the fact that Grian is often drawn to people who are bad for him.

The people Grian is attracted to are very frequently the types with habits for deflecting blame, avoiding labor, and/or taking large risks. People who may be avoidant to doing dull work or take responsibility for their own actions, people who feed Grian's caretaking habits by letting themselves be his responsibility. This makes sense- these kinds of people make Grian feel needed, and that's very alluring for someone like Grian who finds comfort and pride to a point in being relied on.

But I don't think this is good for Grian. We see time and time again the way being relied on like this makes Grian's worst habits actively worse. He grows more neurotic, more anxious, more self loathing, more tired and stressed and hyper-critical and overbearing, when he's with someone he thinks needs him to take care of them.

And Grian recognizes this to a point. Grian recognizes that he desires a "real partner" as he put it. Grian wants- needs- someone who is responsible and level headed and proactive. Grian needs someone who can mitigate his anxieties and share the burdens of life with him. Grian knows this, he talks often enough about how much he wants partnership. And yet, Grian still finds himself drawn back to people who he needs to save. Over and over. And he tears himself apart over it. Over and over.

Invitations to the killing game.

Invitations to the game could only be seen by those who were invited and those who had once participated in it.

Other persons around, however, see nothing in place of the "invitation". Mostly not understanding what exactly is happening.

Mumbo, who has not yet received an invitation, looks in surprise at Scar, who is frozen in place, and then at the invitation to Mr. Goodtimes himself to the game. Jumbo himself does not yet understand whether he is happy or not about the fact that he has not yet received an invitation

Xisuma does not understand why Bdubs makes a loud surprise next to him. Not that such "sounds" were something unusual from his co-server, but at the same time, staring at one point and freezing in place was not the most usual state for him.

Zedaph does not understand why Tango suddenly fell silent. Tango stopped making his specific sounds, and his tail froze in the air like a question mark. Even the fire rods around his head dimmed for a couple of moments.

False does not let the surprised Gem, who noticed the invitation under her feet, stumble. The blonde does not understand why her friend blinks in surprise and picks up something from the ground, apparently only for her.

Doc just exhales slowly watching Ren stare at one point on the windowsill. His tail suddenly stopped wagging, and his ears pressed against his head. A slight alarm hung for a good couple of seconds, and then a dog's laughter was heard.

For a couple of minutes, the server hung in half-minute silence due to the appearance of invitations. They, of course, could refuse. But why?

Mumbo is sure that he will not receive an invitation and does not see anything for himself for the rest of the day.

Until he comes home and falls on the bed tired. A moment later, he notices a perfect envelope with three multi-colored traffic hearts on the neighboring pillow and makes a noisy tired exit.
