omaha. stephan had walked the familiar streets countless times. but even after four years, they still felt foreign to him. everywhere he looked brought back horrific flashbacks of the bullying or the claims set against his family. thankfully, he was also reminded of audrey and his friends, the one’s he clung to for the majority of his childhood. it felt strange, the feeling of being in a place he once called home. apparently his paranoia was still in full effect, since he found himself involuntarily swinging around, feeling like someone was following him. “what?” he snapped, before looking up at the figure.
he has the twins out for a walk, enjoying the good weather while there’s still a chance. the wheels of the double stroller must have kicked up some pebbles to grab the taller male’s attention -- ari’s footsteps are, otherwise, feather light. “can i help you?” he arches a brow, bringing the stroller to a stop and leaning against its handlebar. “i was just walking here -- that’s not a crime.” clever, ari. clever.
