truth be told she didn’t know much ABOUT maggie, but it’s not like they were absolutely strangers to each other. “yeah,” she moves to match the other girls pace a little. the first day was always the craziest, save for the last day, so it was nice to have a somewhat calm beginning before everything went crazy. “what’s your first class? i have bennard, who i swear has it out for me or something. nearly failed me last year.”

      maggie has dreaded this all summer long. the first day back to school for everyone on the east side of albuquerque. after spending her three month break ignoring the place— it was time to face it once again. one of her earphones is in while the other is out & she’s humming what’s playing through her playlist. maggie’s eating a granola bar when suddenly she hears someone approaching close behind & instantly she turns her head to catch a glimpse of who or what it may be, ❛ oh— sorry.. ❜ she mumbles with her mouth full, worried that she was probably in their way. ❛ i’m usually the only one who decides to take this route ? i guess that’s gonna change this year. ❜

east high is the last place she wants to be. the only thing that makes it bearable is the opportunity for CHANGE &  POPULARITY. arizona knows it’s not the..most respectable thing to be thinking about, but it’s not like she wants to think about anything else these days ( college is coming up quick, her siblings always seemed to be in her business ) .. so that leaves school, and what comes with it. she barely registered she was going an unpopular route before the blonde spoke up. “um,” she pulls out the other earphone from her own ears. “you’re fine. it’s just less crowded, you know?”

hello again ! it’s r with 2/2 of my bbs. this is arizona, or most of the time, ari / zona. tw for mentions of neglect, nothing too bad.

arizona was born to a family that couldn’t support the children they already had, yet continued to have children anyways.

she was put into the foster care system when she was young, about 5, and never saw any of her other family again despite attempts to place some together. 

ari bounced from home to home until she was about 13, when she was fostered then adopted by zeke and ryan. 

she’s 17 now and still hasn’t fully adjusted despite her attempts. she simply cannot connect to them how she feels like she’s supposed to. othre families are all lovey-dovey and arizona to her family is just..not. hugs are fine, but otherwise, it’s a total no. 

it’s not that she doesn’t love them. she does. but it’s the fact that she doesn’t like to be touchy-feely in the way she’s seen other siblings are to each other ; she wasn’t raised that way (or raised really at all) and so it’s all super awkward??? 

personality wise, ari is very..intense. she’s the kind of person to be in your face all the time. she’s popular, but not the top of the pyramid. that’s her on goal this year : to boost her popularity.

she wants to be a cheerleader despite never..actively trying to be a cheerleader, so she can only imagine how it’ll go

the type to know everything about everyone, and spread things, even if they aren’t true. she doesn’t know how to keep her mouth shut

regarding plots, i think i’m going to make a separate post entirely but if you have any ideas for them with zona, pls hmu on discord!
