there's a certain vibe to s2 finale and it's that the entire episode is just slowly careening towards this disaster. clarke says please give me a better idea and nobody can think of one, because monty and maya played the entire scenario out many episodes ago: without then treatment we'll die. what are we supposed to do? / die.
